Business Development Head/Manager

Requirement: 

Arabic Speaker Experience: 5+ Years Sector: IT Product / Application Sales in the Government Sector 

Job Description:

The Business Development Head/Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's presence in the IT product and application market within the government sector. This role requires extensive experience in business development, strong sales skills, and a deep understanding of the government sector in the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

● Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets.

● Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market trends within the government sector.

● Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and decision-makers.

○ Present and demonstrate IT products and applications to potential government clients.

● Sales Management: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.

● Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to government sector requirements.

● Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

● Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with government clients to secure favorable agreements.

● Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights.

● Compliance: Ensure all business activities comply with local regulations and company policies.

Required Skills:

● Strong understanding of IT products, applications, and solutions relevant to the government sector.

● Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.

● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.

● Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

● Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.

● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and devise effective strategies.

Qualifications: 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. 

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on IT product/application sales in the government sector. 

Preferred Qualifications:

● Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications in business development, sales, or IT.

● Regional Experience: Experience working in the GCC region with a focus on government sector clients.

● Network: Established network of contacts within the government sector in Qatar and the GCC region.
