**Job Overview:**


Operational assistant will oversee the company's global trade operations, including import/export processes, international shipping, customs compliance, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international trade, logistics, and supply chain management, with a strong understanding of global markets, regulations, and industry trends.


**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Trade Operations:** Manage end-to-end international trade processes, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and coordinating shipments.

- **Logistics Management:** Oversee the logistics and transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

- **Customs Compliance:** Ensure all international trade activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including customs documentation, tariffs, and import/export controls.

- **Supply Chain Coordination:** Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to optimize the supply chain and ensure the efficient movement of goods.

- **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate risks associated with international trade, such as geopolitical issues, exchange rate fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.

- **Market Analysis:** Monitor global market trends, trade policies, and economic conditions to identify new opportunities and challenges.

- **Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.

- **Technology Integration:** Leverage technology to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in trade and logistics operations.

- **Team Leadership:** Lead and mentor a team of logistics and trade professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Skills

**Requirements:*


- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CILT, CSCMP) is a plus.

- **Experience:** Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in international trade and logistics, with a proven track record of managing global supply chains and trade operations.

- **Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of global trade regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping protocols.


- **Skills:**


 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 - Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.

 - Proficient in MS software and tools

 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

 - Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
