Job Purpose      

Supervise the warehouse operations related to inbound, outbound logistics activities and stock management to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly according to the health and safety regulations.

Job Duties

Warehousing Activities             

• Manage the warehouses in compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Manage the warehouse layout setup and ensure cleanliness and efficient space utilization.
• Oversee the products storage conditions (expiry dates, lot number, batch, item description and proper stocking).
• Ensure that all appropriate Health and Safety regulations are being implemented with regards to personnel safety and safety of inventory.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and loading of goods and products as per local laws requirements.
• Manage the receiving of shipments for the warehouse by allocating the required resources in order to unload the containers within the set and agreed checklist and operating procedures.
• Manage the dispatching and delivery of goods/products to different stores and/or customers and the transfer of products between the warehouse and the stores as per the set standard operating procedures.
• Monitor the daily cost and productivity of Unifert warehouse and stores in coordination with storekeepers.
• Record and track stock entries for all inbound and outbound activities.
• Perform regular inventory check on one product item from each product line.
• Oversee and manage the vehicles used to transport goods and products, instructing the drivers to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
• Oversee the preventive maintenance activities of the warehouse and report challenges faced to the Top Management.
• Manage the maintenance of equipment and resolve problems addressed by storekeepers and follow-up on resolution within the set and agreed timeframe.

General

• Carry out other similar duties that can be defined within the broad functional job and functional responsibilities outlined above as instructed by the direct manager.

Qualifications

• 5 years of  experience in a warehouse with supervisory experience
• Related degree
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Good Computer Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• In-depth understanding of industry and best practices in warehousing
• Proficiency in record keeping, inventory control practices and logistics
