About Us:
City Shipping Logistics is a fast-growing logistics company specializing in shipping and transportation services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist with essential accounting tasks and provide support to our senior accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Enter journal entries and ensure accurate data entry
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Support with invoice processing and document filing
- Help with routine bookkeeping tasks
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and documentation
- Perform basic administrative tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the senior accountant
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong English
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks
- Willingness to learn and support the team
Preferred but not required:
- 1 year of accounting experience or relevant internship
- Familiarity with accounting softwares
