As an Academic Counselor ,you will serve as a key point of contact for students seeking guidance on educational opportunities abroad. You will provide personalized counseling to prospective students, assisting them in navigating the complexities of international education, selecting suitable academic programs, and achieving their academic and career goals. Your role will involve building relationships with students, understanding their aspirations, and guiding them through the application and enrollment process for international universities and institutions.

Responsibilities:

1   Conduct individual counseling sessions with prospective students to assess their academic background, interests, and career objectives.

2   Provide comprehensive information and guidance on educational opportunities abroad, including academic programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa procedures.

3   Assist students in identifying suitable universities, colleges, or institutions based on their academic preferences, budget, and location preferences.

4   Guide students through the application process, including completing application forms, preparing supporting documents, and submitting applications to relevant educational institutions.

5   Offer support and advice to students throughout the admissions process, addressing any questions, concerns, or challenges they may encounter.

6   Coordinate with university representatives, admissions officers, and educational partners to facilitate student admissions and enrollment procedures.

7   Organize and participate in educational fairs, workshops, and recruitment events to promote international education opportunities and recruit prospective students.

8   Maintain accurate records of student interactions, counseling sessions, and application statuses using CRM systems or student management databases.

9   Stay updated on trends and developments in international education, including changes in admission requirements, visa regulations, and scholarship opportunities.

10 Collaborate with other team members, including recruitment officers and administrative staff, to ensure a seamless and efficient student recruitment process.

11  Uphold ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions with students, educational institutions, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, International Relations, or a related field.

•   1-2 years of experience in academic advising, counseling, student recruitment, or related roles within the education sector.

•   Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and visa regulations.
