Padel Me Club is a Jordanian business dedicated to promoting and developing padel courts and enhancing the country's interest in padel tennis. Padel is a unique sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, played on a court with solid walls and limited space, providing a fun and engaging experience for players.
Position Overview
The Receptionist at the Padel Courts serves as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. This role includes managing bookings, providing information about facilities, and delivering excellent customer service to players and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Front Desk Operations
a. Greet and assist visitors, players, and members with a friendly and professional demeanor.
b. Handle check-ins, registrations, and payment processing for bookings.
c. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
d. Hand over the balls, rackets for the visitors and if anything needed.
2. Booking Management
a. Schedule court reservations and manage cancellations or changes efficiently.
b. Update and maintain booking systems /Application with accuracy.
c. Ensure that courts are allocated and utilized effectively.
3. Customer Service
a. Provide information about the Padel Courts, membership packages, and upcoming events.
b. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
c. Promote and upsell services, memberships, and merchandise when appropriate.
4. Administrative Support
a. Manage incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate department if needed.
b. Handle daily reports, including cash transactions and booking summaries.
c. Assist with inventory management for court equipment and merchandise.
5. Event Coordination
a. Support the organization of tournaments, training sessions, or promotional activities.
b. Provide on-site assistance during events to ensure smooth operations.
6. Facility Monitoring
a. Ensure that players adhere to court rules and facility policies.
b. Report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
c. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including common areas and storage rooms.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's Degree; additional qualifications in customer service or hospitality are a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or sports facility role preferred.
• Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Proficiency in booking software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Friendly, proactive, and service-oriented attitude.
Work Environment
• Based at the reception desk of the padel courts facility.
• May involve standing for extended periods or light lifting.
• Requires interaction with players, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced setting.
