Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our HR team in Amman, Jordan. This role will be instrumental in transforming our recruitment data into meaningful insights that drive strategic hiring decisions. The successful candidate will work across multiple data sources including iCIMS ATS, Excel-based recruitment tracking systems, and various reporting tools to measure, analyze, and optimize our talent acquisition processes.


Data Analysis & Reporting


  • Extract, analyze, and synthesize recruitment data from iCIMS ATS, Recruitment Report (Excel), and Start Hire Report (Excel) to produce comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations that provide real-time insights into recruitment performance metrics
  • Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making across the talent acquisition function
  • Create ad-hoc reports and analyses in response to stakeholder requests and business needs

Recruitment Metrics Management


  • Time to Fill Analysis: Calculate and report time to fill metrics with statistical rigor.
  • Time to Respond Tracking: Monitor and report on candidate response times establishing benchmarks and identifying bottlenecks in the screening and communication process
  • Interview to Offer Ratios: Track conversion rates at each stage of the hiring funnel to identify optimization opportunities
  • Candidate Experience Measurement: Analyze candidate experience survey data, correlating feedback scores with process metrics to identify areas for improvement in the candidate journey

Employee Retention Analysis


  • Produce comprehensive monthly employee retention reports analyzing turnover rates, tenure patterns, and attrition trends across departments, roles, and demographics
  • Calculate and track key retention metrics including voluntary vs. involuntary turnover, regrettable vs. non-regrettable attrition, and early-tenure turnover.
  • Identify high-risk cohorts and early warning indicators of potential turnover through data pattern analysis
  • Correlate retention data with recruitment metrics to assess quality of hire and identify potential improvements in the selection process
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership on retention challenges and opportunities, including cost-of-turnover analysis for key roles

Process Optimization & Insights


  • Conduct root cause analysis on recruitment challenges such as extended time to fill, low offer acceptance rates, or poor candidate experience scores
  • Collaborate with recruitment team members and hiring managers to understand data context and validate findings
  • Develop forecasting models to predict hiring timelines and resource needs based on historical data
  • Benchmark internal metrics against industry standards and recommend best practices

Data Quality & System Management


  • Ensure data integrity across all recruitment tracking systems, implement quality control processes and regular audits
  • Identify gaps in current data collection methods and recommend improvements to capture more meaningful insights
  • Work with stakeholders to standardize data entry processes and definitions across the recruitment team
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on recruitment data sources and reporting capabilities

Stakeholder Communication


  • Present findings and recommendations to talent acquisition leadership and business stakeholders in clear, actionable formats
  • Translate complex data analyses into compelling narratives that drive strategic decisions
  • Partner with recruitment team members to ensure they understand and can leverage available data and reports

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 3 years of work experience in business, data or HR analytics partnered with a Bachelor degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science or Human Resources.


The candidate must have strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data visualization) and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
