About the Job
As a Team Lead Software Engineer (Front End) at Aspire, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-quality mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly solutions while contributing to shared codebases and modern frontend architectures. This role requires deep hands-on expertise combined with the ability to provide light technical leadership.
What you’ll doDesign, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React, TypeScript, and React Native.
Contribute to and maintain shared codebases, including monorepos and npm packages.
Apply modern state management systems to build scalable and maintainable applications.
Utilize Tailwind CSS and modern styling approaches for consistent UI development.
Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring high code quality and best practices.
Collaborate closely with backend, UI/UX, QA, product, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Spend approximately 20% of your time supporting and guiding a small team, while contributing 80% as an individual contributor.
Communicate independently with business and product stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest frontend and mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
What you’ll needExtensive experience with React, TypeScript, and React Native.
Proven experience contributing to npm packages and working with monorepo architectures.
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and modern frontend styling frameworks.
Strong understanding of modern state management systems.
Solid experience conducting code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with business and product stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
