Civil Engineer (Proposal Engineer)

Qualification & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 2–4 years of experience in proposals / tenders

• Excellent command of the English language

(Hydraulic Engineer)

Qualification & Requirements:

Detailed Design & Analysis:

1)Review hydrological models, design flows and boundary conditions.

2)Evaluate scour, sediment transport, morphodynamics where applicable.

3)Design dike protection and revetments.

4)Design of hydraulic structures, such as culverts, weirs, storage basins, pumping stations, drainage channels, bridges, etc.

5)Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports.

Design coordination:

1)Coordinate design interfaces with other design teams and disciplines (e.g. geotechnical, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.)

2)Conduct and respond to independent design checks (peer reviews) and value engineering.

Stakeholder Engagement:

1)Lead technical meetings, workshops, and design reviews with client, authorities, contractors, and consultants.

2)Prepare clear communications on technical choices, risks, and trade‑offs.

Competencies & Experience:

Education: Master’s (preferred) in Hydraulic/Water Resources/Coastal/Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Registration: Chartered Engineer (CEng), PE, or local registration (if applicable).

Experience: >5 years across feasibility to construction in river, coastal, and/or urban drainage contexts.

Technical Skills:

Hydraulic modelling: 1D/2D (e.g., HEC‑RAS 1D/2D, InfoWorks ICM, SWMM, MIKE 11/21/URBAN, TUFLOW, SOBEK).

Design of hydraulic structures (culverts, weirs, spillways, gates, dikes/revetments, pumping stations).

Digital Skills: GIS, BIM (Civil3D, AutoCAD), model coordination (ACC), SharePoint.

Soft Skills: Pro-active communication, coordination with the design team and modellers, stakeholder management, clear technical writing and presentation in English.

(Structural Engineer)

Qualification & Requirements:

Detailed Design & Analysis:

1)Perform advanced analyses (static, dynamic, seismic, wind, thermal, vibration, progressive collapse, robustness).

2)Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and design reports.

3)Design primary and secondary structural elements (frames, slabs, foundations, retaining structures, connections).

Design coordination:

1)Coordinate design interfaces with geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical and construction teams.

2)Conduct and respond to independent design checks (peer reviews) and value engineering.

Stakeholder Engagement:

1)Lead technical meetings, workshops, and design reviews with client, authorities, contractors, and consultants.

2)Prepare clear communications on technical choices, risks, and trade‑offs.

Competencies & Experience:

Education: Master’s degree (preferred) in Structural/Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Registration: Chartered Engineer (CEng), PE, and registered with the Jordan Engineers Association.

Experience: >10 years covering concept-to-construction on infrastructure /  bridges / support structures / etc.

Technical Skills: Advanced FEA (linear/nonlinear), dynamic analysis, foundation engineering, materials behavior, connection design, BIM (Revit/Civil3D), model coordination (ACC), SharePoint

Soft Skills: Pro-active, coordination with the design team and modellers, stakeholder management, clear technical writing and presentation in English.
