The opportunity:
The Financial Planning Analyst will assist the accounting and finance team with data collection, formatting, and analysis. We are looking for a strategic thinker who will support the function with budgeting and planning
Your role at OpenSooq includes:
- Collecting, Validating, and Analyzing Data from all relevant departments.
- Preparing financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining Data.
- Developing financial models to support strategic initiatives and decisions.
- Monitoring and controlling spending within business units in alignment with approved budgets.
- Preparing Budget vs Actual Reports.
- Working on any ad-hoc analysis or reporting requested by the management.
- Working alongside multiple functions by highlighting gaps, and suggesting process improvements that are supported by solid analysis.
What will make you successful in this role:
- 1+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance, including Reporting or relevant.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to deal with tight deadlines.
- Ability to analyze data and create financial and budget plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel command
