Carpathian Way is a trucking company based in Chicago, USA. We run our own trucks and drivers across the United States, and we are building a new dispatch team in Jordan that works directly with our operations in Chicago.

This is a real dispatch job, not a call center. You will manage a group of drivers, book loads with US freight brokers, track trucks, solve problems on the road, and keep our customers updated. You will be on the phone with Americans all day. Every load you book and every problem you solve directly affects the company's revenue.

What you will do:

• Plan and book loads for your assigned drivers using load boards and broker relationships
• - Negotiate rates with US brokers by phone and email
• - Track trucks, monitor pickups and deliveries, and handle delays, breakdowns, and detention
• - Keep drivers informed and accountable, and escalate issues to Chicago management on time
• - Enter loads, rate confirmations, and updates in our TMS and communicate by email and phone
• - Bill accessorials (detention, layover, TONU) and make sure nothing is left off the invoice

Hours: Fixed shift covering the US Central Time business day (e.g. 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM Amman time, Monday-Friday). Weekend on-call is shared across the team.

Work from home for now. We plan to open an office in Amman within the next year, and this team will move into it.

What we need from you:

• Fluent spoken English. You will be tested before any interview. If you can't hold a fast, clear phone conversation with an American broker, this job is not for you.
• - Written English good enough for emails to brokers and customers
• - Experience in US trucking dispatch, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination is strongly preferred. We will train the right person from scratch if they are sharp and reliable.
• - Comfortable with pressure, multitasking, and making decisions alone when something goes wrong at 11 PM
• - Reliable internet, a quiet workspace, and your own computer with headset
• - Honest, direct, and able to take feedback

• $900-$1,100 per month, paid in USD, depending on experience

Employment type: independent contractor agreement with a US company, paid monthly in USD.
