About the role :



The Chef de Rang is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This position provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness. The Chef de Rang anticipates and services guests needs before being asked and is knowledgeable about all available food & beverage offers.

What you will do:



Provide an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness.
Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Prepare and present bills accurately and assist with restaurant opening/closing shifts.
Revise and update check list and ensuring are used by all team members at opening/closing shift
Greet and seat guests professionally and make reservations conforming to Four Seasons standards and tools.
Assist in setting and clearing tables neatly, rapidly, and completely according to specification.
Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.

What you bring:



An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
High level of understanding and knowledge of food and Beverage
Background in Luxury Resort and Hotel considered an asset
Proficiency in using the Micros Operating System.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Arab, French and English language.
