Expected Pay Range: JOD 500 A reputable organization is seeking qualified Jordanian professionals to fill the position of Driver for planned national water projects. The Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable and professional transportation and logistical support, including field missions and other work-related activities across Jordan. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Provide safe and reliable driving services to staff and consultants, including during field missions.</li> <li>Use project vehicles strictly for official purposes and in accordance with instructions.</li> <li>On field missions, the Driver will be directed, managed and supervised by the staff member or engaged consultant in charge of the field mission.</li> <li>The Driver will assist this staff/consultant in facilitating logistics to make the mission successful, including arrangements for workshops and training such as lodging, meeting halls, slide shows, printing, photocopying, internet etc., timely provision of refreshments and lunch.</li> <li>The Driver shall carry out other duties and tasks reasonably assigned by the staff/consultant in charge of the mission.</li> <li>The Facilitator/Driver should at any time be on call and near to where the staff/consultant in charge of the mission is and ensure that the vehicle is strictly used for official purposes as per the direction of this staff/Consultant.</li> <li>Provide driving services to staff and consultants in Jordan and on field trips.</li> <li>Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.</li> <li>Following safety and security measures for using vehicles and report any misuse.</li> <li>Assures vehicles are properly and safely secured outside official duty use.</li> <li>Keep the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside.</li> <li>Maintain accurate fuel records, maintenance records, and incident/accident reports.  Conduct routine vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance requirements. DIMENSION OF POST Reconstructive Surgery Hospital with an average of 550 admissions per year, over 1000 surgeries annually, 72 surgical beds and 126 rehabilitation beds, 2 OTs for orthopedic, maxillo-facial and plastic reconstructive surgeries, OPD with an average 550 consultations / month, physiotherapy and psychosocial department, and Antimicrobial Resistance activity (Stewardship, IPC and Micro laboratory) within the hospital. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing the tasks of transporting authorized goods and passengers in an MSF vehicle, ensuring its technical and safety conditions and respecting the country's traffic rules and MSF security rules, to provide a safe, smooth and efficient service.   ACCOUNTABILITIES: ·     Checking daily, the technical conditions of the assigned vehicle (state of the tires, oil, fuel, brakes, radio equipment, spare parts, etc.), performing weekly check according to the MSF Logbook, refilling it when necessary, and keeping it clean to ensure it can be driven in perfect conditions. Document all trips prior to the start of and at the conclusion of each trip. Park vehicle in designated location when not in use. Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness. Required Gas Station Supervisor The National Energy Group, owner of the Go Gas brand Go Gas announces its need to appoint "Gas Station Supervisor" to work within its staff at its stations located in the southern region (Ma’an Station – Hashimyya Ma’an Station – Al-Hasa Station) Detailed tasks and duties: -Â Ensure the station’s fuel stock and contact the inventory officer if there is a shortage when needed to sustain operation of the station without any disruption. -Â Morning and evening work shifts for wells according to shift handovers, weekly inventory, and water testing. -Â Unload fuel trucks according to the approved procedure with strict adherence to general safety during unloading. -Â Daily (24-hour) cash receipts for the accounting department. -Â Prepare cash and ensure its accuracy and deposit it in banks. -Â Daily shift handover and hand receipt. -Â Constant presence and monitoring of the yard. -Â Daily inventory of supermarket items on shelves and in warehouses (4 items/day). -Â Marketing and sales in the geographic area around the station. -Â Supervising workers' performance regarding safety rules at all stages, and ensuring cleanliness and neatness. -Â Ensuring overall station and facilities cleanliness, especially fuel wells. -Â Monthly inventory of station assets per approved forms.. -Â Ensuring all monthly station invoices reach the collections and public relations to reach the accounting and administration department. -Â Preparing purchase requests and sending any procurement items to the concerned department. -Â Follow up all maintenance of the station according to approved procedures and submit all related reports. -Â Submit full recruitment requests for inspectors periodically and without delay. -Â Evaluate and train pump workers and inspectors. -Â Follow up and implement any new directives. -Â Any other duties as assigned by the direct manager. Every load you book and every problem you solve directly affects the company's revenue.<h2>What You Will Do</h2><ul><li>Plan and book loads for your assigned drivers using load boards and broker relationships.</li><li>Negotiate rates with US brokers by phone and email.</li><li>Track trucks, monitor pickups and deliveries, and handle delays, breakdowns, and detention.</li><li>Keep drivers informed and accountable, and escalate issues to Chicago management on time.</li><li>Enter loads, rate confirmations, and updates in our TMS and communicate by email and phone.</li><li>Bill accessorials (detention, layover, TONU) and make sure nothing is left off the invoice.</li></ul><h2>Working Hours</h2><ul><li>Fixed shift covering the US Central Time business day.</li><li>Example: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM Amman time, Monday-Friday.</li><li>Weekend on-call is shared across the team.</li></ul><h2>Work Location</h2>Work from home for now.We plan to open an office in Amman within the next year, and this team will move into it.<h2>What We Need From You</h2><ul><li>Fluent spoken English. You will be tested before any interview. If you can't hold a fast, clear phone conversation with an American broker, this job is not for you.</li><li>Written English good enough for emails to brokers and customers.</li><li>Experience in US trucking dispatch, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination is strongly preferred.
