Job Title: Warehouse Officer FSR # 601

Location: Madaba,Gaza Response Mission
 

Job Summary

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate all shipments moving from Madaba, and to Madaba.
  • Raise PRs for trucks and labors for transporting shipments once paper.
  • Facilitate timely shipments clearance from borders.
  • Conducting a regular market-price survey of the trucks & labor charges and identify the current market basket (frequently rented truck /services);
  • Perform any and all other tasks by the supervisor as may be assigned in a manner that contributes to achievement of the objectives.
  • Assisting warehouse manager in managing the proper set up, maintenance, repair, and running of all IMC facilities according to IMC procedures and regulations.

Assisting warehouse manager in the full documentation of all Logistics operations in a well-organized filing system according to IMC regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically, a bachelor’s degree in any field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and extensive experience may be subsided as appropriate.
  • Typically, 1+ year of experience in a related field.
  • Humanitarian experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
