The Health and Safety Specialist/Manager ensures the establishment, monitoring, and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with Jordanian Regulation No. 33 of 2023, related to the formation of safety and occupational health committees and the roles of health and safety supervisors. This role supports a safe working environment for all employees and ensures compliance with occupational safety and health standards.

- Ensure adherence to Jordanian Regulation No. 33 of 2023 and other relevant local and international occupational health and safety standards.
- Develop and update health and safety policies in line with legal requirements.
- Participate in forming workplace health and safety committees and facilitate their operation as required by law.
- Oversee the establishment and coordination of health and safety committees.
- Provide training, guidance, and resources to committee members to ensure they effectively fulfill their roles.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify workplace hazards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor mitigation strategies to manage identified risks.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and preventive measures.
- Plan and deliver health and safety training programs for employees and committee members.

- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent.
- Experience working within an international school setting.
