Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in Amman. This is a full-time, on-site role where the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The Senior Procurement Specialist will oversee purchase orders, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and utilize analytical skills to optimize procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value and minimize risks.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
- Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
Qualifications- Proven experience in procurement and purchase order management.
- Strong expertise in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is preferred.
