Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in Amman. This is a full-time, on-site role where the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The Senior Procurement Specialist will oversee purchase orders, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and utilize analytical skills to optimize procurement processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value and minimize risks.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.


Qualifications
  • Proven experience in procurement and purchase order management.
  • Strong expertise in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools is preferred.
