JOB SUMMARY
The Evidence & Knowledge Officer is responsible for strengthening the PIMS platform & projects evidence base and institutional knowledge by systematically monitoring external initiatives, guidance, and reference sources relevant to the platform. The role supports strategic decision-making, program design, and improved knowledge management by ensuring that up-to-date, well-organized, and credible information is readily available across teams, without directly engaging in product research or development activities.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Track and summarize updates from authoritative health reference sources, including WHO databases, national treatment protocols, and published clinical guidance, and communicate relevant changes to appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and synthesize publicly available evidence, initiatives, and programs relevant to the PIMS platform & projects thematic and geographic areas of work, including comparable projects, funding calls, and sector trends.
- Maintain and curate internal knowledge repositories, including structured documentation, reference materials, and item catalogues, ensuring consistency, version control, and accessibility.
- Support planning and decision-making by providing evidence summaries, landscape overviews, and relevant references.
- Ensure that evidence and reference materials are clearly documented, appropriately sourced, and aligned with recognized international standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of knowledge management practices, tools, and workflows across for the PIMS projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related health field.
- Prior experience working with NGOs or international development organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in research, documentation, or publication is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented approach.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
