تحت إشراف أخصائيي السلوك المعتمدين من المجلس، سيعمل معالج ABA واحدًا لواحد مع الأطفال المصابين باضطرابات طيف التوحد، أو الأطفال ذوي مشاكل سلوكية أو إعاقات تطورية أخرى إما في المركز أو المدرسة. ستركز الجلسات على تعليم التواصل، الاعتماد على الذات، ومهارات اللعب.
المسؤوليات والواجبات:
- تنفيذ خطة علاج مكتوبة من قبل أخصائيي السلوك المعتمدين من المجلس إما في المدرسة أو في المركز
- جمع البيانات يوميًا عن برامج الطلاب
Job Description:
Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the ABA therapist will work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorders, or children with behavior problems or other developmental disabilities either at a center or school. The sessions will focus on teaching communication, self-help, and play skills.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Occupational Therapy preferred
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Patience and a willingness to learn, and a passion to help children with special needs
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long period of time
- Commitment to learning and developing your personal and professional skills
- Ability to tolerate aggressive behavior and/or problem behaviors.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implement a treatment plan as written by Board Certified Behavior Analysts either at a school or in the center
- Collect data daily on students' programs
