Job Scope:
The Mechanical Engineer is accountable for managing and supervising terminal from an administrative and operational aspects while ensuring a healthy and safe environment compliant with HSSE regulations. S/He follow up and oversees on all maintenance requests and issues to secure all equipment and assets are functioning properly and without hazards.

Technical
- Manage operations tasks related to all terminal including truck filling, bottle filling and vessel discharging to name a few
- Follow up on all tasks related to maintenance at the Terminals including assets equipment, tools, systems, etc.
- Ensure on all HSSE matters in coordination with Quality Department to ensure the safety of all equipment, trucks, assets and personnel while securing full compliance to standards.
- Follow up on all administrative tasks including attendance and schedules, deliveries, invoices, requests, etc.
- Review & update when needed Terminals unified quality management system including procedures, forms, documents, objectives, KPIs etc. to ensure alignment and full compliance at all times.
- Prepare and implement all Terminals yearly plan and budget sharing periodic updates with concerned when and as needed.
- Follow up on the emergency response plans and all related initiatives including firefighting systems, routine drills, trainings, evacuations…
- Train and ensure proper follow up on training activities related to safety and technical know-how handled in coordination with HR and Quality departments.
- Coordination and follow up on the assessments and audits conducted by internal and external parties following up on resulting activities and initiatives as and when required.
- Monitor and control the technical inventory and stock at the terminals warehouses making sure they are properly managed and safeguarded.
- Follow up and monitor the white products and stocks in coordination with concerned from the commercial department raising concerns when and as needed.
- Periodically generate reports and evaluations as per existing procedures and practices highlighting important matters when and as needed.

Maintenance
- Coordinate maintenance worker efforts to make sure all equipment are kept in good condition.
- Communicate plans for upper level improvements to maintenance worker staff
- Communicate all terminal measures for all maintenance personnel
- Conduct trainings for teams and interns
- Develop engineering files and blueprints

Team
- Provide direction and instructions to team following up on deliverables and taking actions in case of delays.
- Hold weekly and monthly meetings with team to ensure alignment on deliveries and goals.
- Coach and develop the team members for higher performance and efficiency.
- Conduct necessary trainings to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date
- Guide, supervise and follow up on the deliverables of direct reports and team members as per procedures and practices
