<p><span><span><strong>Role Summary</strong></span></span></p><br><p><span><span>The Accounts Payable Intern will support APCO's North America finance function from APCO's office in Amman, Jordan. The intern will assist with day-to-day accounts payable activities, invoice processing, payment documentation, vendor support, and finance administration while gaining hands-on exposure to accounting operations within a global organization. This role will report to the Accounts Payable Lead in Amman and will work closely with finance colleagues supporting APCO's North America offices. <p><span><strong>Role Summary</strong></span></p><br><p><span>The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for general ledger functions and adhering to required statutory procedures following US GAAP accounting, assuring compliance with all reporting and internal control requirements, and adequately protecting the assets of APCO. The Staff Accountant reports to the Financial Controller – US.
