AKF Construction Inc. is a licensed general contractor based in Orange County and Los Angeles, California, specializing in high-end custom homes, luxury remodels, ADUs, and commercial tenant improvements for restaurant, medical, and retail clients. You'll have direct access to company leadership, not layers of middle management.

Key responsibilities:

Create, track, and close out RFIs with clear, solutions-oriented questions

Manage the submittal and shop drawing process with subcontractors and suppliers

Administer contract changes: price, track, and log change orders

Manage subcontractor and supplier communication, bid solicitation, and bid leveling

Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from architectural and structural drawings

Track job cost (budget vs. committed vs. actual) and report variances

Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules to support the project timeline

Update project schedules and report on progress and production trends

Maintain document control: drawing logs, specifications, permits, contracts, meeting minutes

Track permit and plan-check status with city building agencies

Assemble project closeout documents: warranties, O&M manuals, as-builts

Working hours: Minimum 8 hours daily, overlapping 7:00 AM–3:00 PM US Pacific Time (approximately 5:00 PM–1:00 AM Jordan time; shifts to 6:00 PM–2:00 AM Jordan time from November to March).

Benefits: Fully remote position, paid monthly in USD, long-term role with a defined growth path to Project Engineer, Project Manager, and direct exposure to high-end US construction projects from the start.

Skills
