JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Market Facilitator to support the growth of startups and enterprise businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market development strategies, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize their market plans.
Join Purpose: The Market Facilitator will play a crucial role in supporting startups and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) by coordinating meetings, developing financial literacy programs, and connecting businesses with financial institutions. This position requires strong communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills to enhance business capabilities and market access.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Technical, Coaching, coordination)
Technical 30%
- Market Analysis: identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within targeted industries.
- Startup Selection for Financial Support: Assist in identifying startups eligible for financial assistance, developing support mechanisms, and monitoring progress.
- Train Partner Staff to be able to Animation and awareness of the companies themselves through periodic field visits (monthly/bi-monthly
- Strategic Planning: Assist businesses in formulating effective market plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
- Work closely with the Impact measurement Expert to collect data and analyses it
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on market trends, client progress, and recommendations for continuous improvement
Coaching 40%
- Business Coaching: Provide coaching to businesses on navigating supply chains, addressing barriers to access services and markets, thus facilitating the growth of the companies themselves and the creation of jobs.
- Business Development: Work closely with startups and enterprises to develop and refine their market strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Financial Literacy Development: Create and implement financial literacy programs tailored for SMEs, enhancing their understanding of financial management
Coordination 30%
- Coordination of Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings between startups, SMEs, and industry operators to foster collaboration and networking opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Schedule and conduct visits with key operators to gather insights, provide support, and foster relationships that enhance market penetration.
- Internship Awareness: Raise awareness among companies about internship opportunities to enhance workforce development.
- Support Clustering Initiatives: Develop a network program for food sector businesses, defining governance models and conducting periodic company visits.
- Highlight Strengths and weaknesses; organizational needs; areas of improvement of processes, products, competitiveness factors and investment opportunities.
- promote access to markets for selected existing companies, guide the design of cluster models and the implementation of a cluster-pilot.
- Define of a governance model of reference for the cluster, which guides companies in the definition, management, and implementation of the agreed "network program".
- Networking: Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
