In coordination with Acted, UNDP and UN Habitat, the SIMO will be responsible for identifying valuable service and infrastructure data from local, national and international actors as well as UN Agencies in order to provide a comprehensive overview of ongoing humanitarian programming across the Strip. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the response s effectiveness by supporting evidence-based planning and coordination. The IMO is expected to engage independently with partners and be confident articulating objectives to a range of audiences. The position requires strong technical skills in data management and analysis, excellent coordination and communication abilities, and a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset. <p><strong><u>Main Responsibilities</u></strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Contributes to the development of a framework for immersive technology integration in the Ministry of Education’s vocational technical education (VTE) system, including design and implementation of a pilot phase with immersive learning content.</li>
<li>Assists in the digitalisation of administrative assessment procedures, including development of a digital solution in close cooperation with IT specialists.</li>
<li>Contributes to the development of digital and AI readiness standards, including design and implementation of a pilot phase to test developed criteria.</li>
<li>Supports the digitalisation of quality assurance within the Ministry of Education, including development of a digital solution in close cooperation with IT specialists.</li>
<li>Provides technical advice and support to other upcoming digitalisation activities/measures in the project and cluster.</li>
<li>Supports the design of digital labour market-oriented teaching and learning offers together with partners from the public sector, private sector and civil society, with a focus on disadvantaged regions and/or groups.</li>
<li>Collects and ensures quality of data for monitoring and evaluation of activities within the project.</li>
<li>Provides other duties at the request of management, such as organisation and documentation of workshops, simultaneous translations from Arabic to English and vice versa, formulating ToRs, etc.</li>
