<p>The GIZ Jordan Project <strong>“Improved Governance for the Support of Reform Projects in Jordan”</strong><strong> (PARtner II)</strong><strong>” </strong>is seeking to hire a&nbsp;“<strong>Public Administration Advisor</strong>”&nbsp;based in Jordan- for full-time base employment.</p> <p>The project&nbsp;“Improved Governance for the Support of Reform Projects in Jordan” (PARtner II)&nbsp;is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented from April 2026 to March 2030. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH will implement the project on behalf of the German government, in partnership with the Prime Ministry of the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.</p> <p>The project builds on its predecessor “PARtner I” and enhances the capacities of the public administration in Jordan. Under the umbrella of the Public Sector Modernization Roadmap and the Economic Modernization Vision, it will continue to support the transformation of the public sector. Aiming at a more efficient, effective public administration which is responsive to citizens’ and businesses’ needs, as well as transparent, evidence-informed decision-making, this project delivers critical support to the wider Jordanian reform agenda.</p> <p><strong><u>Qualifications and specialist knowledge</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>University degree in Political Sciences, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a comparable field​. <p><b>YOUR MISSION: </b>Reporting to the Country Director (CD), as Operations Manager you ensure the effective implementation, quality, and coherence of HI s Palestine programme. You provide strategic and operational leadership, directly supervise Area Managers and the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Chief of Operation (CoO), and coordinate closely with technical and support teams. HI has not been able to deploy international team members since January 2026 due to registration issues and access constraints. Due to the current difficulties in obtaining an authorization to enter Gaza, it is possible that the selected candidate will have to carry out all their mission from Amman. This situation is beyond our control and beyond the responsibility of our organization. West Bank: The situation remains volatile and unpredictable, with frequent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians, particularly during military raids in refugee camps and urban areas. Movement restrictions, checkpoints, and closures continue to impact civilian life and humanitarian access. HI is not able to deploy international team members in the West Bank due to registration issues and access constraints.
