<p>Médecins Sans Frontières is running a reconstructive surgery program in Amman, which opened in 2006, is giving access to reconstructive surgery (orthopedic, plastic, and maxillo-facial) to war-wounded people providing comprehensive health care, MSF aims at identifying and referring patients from neighboring countries (Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and other countries with conflicts) then ensuring their medical follow-up after discharge.</p>
<p>Médecins Sans Frontières Reconstructive Surgery in Amman are seeking a <strong>Multitask Technician for our Daily Worker Pool. </strong></p>
<p><strong>DIMENSION OF POST</strong></p>
<p>Reconstructive Surgery Hospital with an average of 550 admissions per year, over 1000 surgeries annually, 72 surgical beds and 126 rehabilitation beds, 2 OTs for orthopedic, maxillo-facial and plastic reconstructive surgeries, OPD with an average 550 consultations / month, physiotherapy and psychosocial department, and Antimicrobial Resistance activity (Stewardship, IPC and Micro laboratory) within the hospital.</p>
<p><strong>SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<p>Perform repair / maintenance / construction works, according to the supervisor’s instructions and MSF standards, to ensure proper operations and prevent faults / deterioration of MSF equipment / installations / infrastructures. </p>

<p class="MsoListBullet" ><span >•<span > </span></span><span >Perform regular maintenance of MSF installations / equipment / infrastructures (base, house, store, warehouse, health center, hospital, etc.), particularly in line with a preventive maintenance plan (procedures to follow, schedule, etc.).</span></p>

<p ><strong><u>MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities</u></strong></p>
<p ><strong>Scope of Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out maintenance and small repairs on MSF’s premises and infrastructures (offices , apartments etc.)</li>
<li>Carry out interventions as indicated by the direct supervisor, insourced or outsourced.</li>
<li>Other request related to the maintenance activities such as swage and water pips, etc.</li>
<li>Inform the direct supervisor of any problems or breakdowns noticed in MSF’s premises.</li>
<li>Inform the direct supervisor in the event of an incapacity to carry out the work requested which requires the intervention of a worker or specialized technician.</li>
<li>Help workers or specialized technicians if needed.</li>
<li>When work is planned, have a request for material approved by the direct supervisor then use the approved request form to collect material from the log store .</li>
<li>Carrying out gardening tasks and follow up with watchman , if needed.</li>
<li>Carrying and moving (Load and off load) equipment, furniture, etc, to support Logistics Department and other departments in the mission.</li>
<li>Help in new apartment receiving or hand over by supporting the inspection and reports.</li>
<li>Carry out annual services for tools and equipment in MSF premises (offices and apartments) such as AC , heating boiler system , water dispenser, etc.</li>
<li>Having validated Jordanian driving license as will be autonomous by driving the Pick-Up for his professional displacements.
<p><strong>Equipment</strong></p>
</li>
<li>Carry out inventory of his/her tools and equipment every month and handing it over to his/her direct Supervisor</li>
<li>Use MSF standard Tools to perform his work.</li>
<li>Inform his/her direct supervisor of any losses, thefts or replacement needs.</li>
<li>Use tools and equipment placed at his/her disposition correctly.
<p><strong>Safety and Security</strong></p>
</li>
<li>Be a part of the Building Evacuation Plan team, as evacuator, rescue.. etc, as request of the Logistics supervisor .</li>
<li>Be aware of all security polices and respect it.</li>
<li>Maintain all safety and security equipment such as fire extinguishers, cameras, access doors,..etc, functioning in all times.
<p><strong>HVAC Services</strong></p>
</li>
<li>Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems.</li>
<li>Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our activities</li>
<li>Must be proactive in ensuring that preventative maintenance of all equipment is done promptly to help prevent future problems with equipment. They dismantle equipment as necessary when needed to troubleshoot the system or ensure that the equipment is properly maintained.
<p><strong>Electrical works</strong></p>

<li>Carry out and update the electrical installations inventory in msf premisses</li>
<li>Elaborate the necessary documentation for carrying out energy installations projects (plans, list of materials, etc.).</li>

<li>Follows up the work of the owner regarding electricity (, low voltage master distribution boards, elevators).

<p>Aerostat Operators provide Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support for the Persistent Surveillance Systems Tethered (PSS-T) program in OCONUS site locations. PSS-T is comprised of former Persistent Ground Surveillance System (PGSS) and Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS) programs. Position will require 6-week training TDY to Elizabeth City, South Carolina.</p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Essential Responsibilities:</b></p><p>Aerostat Operators/User-level maintainers will participate in the overall, hands-on operation of the aerostat system including launch, in-flight, recovery, and moored activities. Candidates will perform all functions to operate the PGSS/PTDS, an aerostat mounted Intelligence, Surveillance, And Reconnaissance (ISR) platform, its Mobile Mooring Platform (MMP), Sensor Payload(s), communications and navigation systems as well as associated support equipment (Boom Lift, Forklift, All Terrain Vehicles (ATV's), and Electrical Power Generators). Candidate will perform User-level maintenance functions include performing hands-on Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), troubleshooting, removing and replacing Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), and removing and replacing payloads. Candidate must possess a diverse range of skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new situations. Tasks will be performed under direction of higher classified technicians and/or site personnel.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent is required.</li><li>Two-year Associate s degree in a technical field from an accredited college can substitute for work experience.</li><li>Must have an active Secret US Government Clearance.</li><li>Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.</li><li>Must have a valid U.S. passport with a minimum of one year remaining.</li><li>Must have valid US Driver's license.</li><li>Knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems and components.</li><li>Experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual components.</li><li>Ability to perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions including: hardware configurations; adding, removing and replacing hardware components; use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools; reading of electronic circuit schematics; and repairing printed circuit boards.</li><li>At least one (1) year previous Aerostat experience OR two (2) years of experience in the following areas may be substituted in lieu of aerostat experience:</li><ul><li>1) Electrical Maintenance Mechanic</li><li>Possess at least two (2) year s aerostat experience as an operator at the 20 series level or greater from Army MOS 35F (Intelligence Analyst), 35G (Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst), 35H (Common Ground System Analyst), 96R (Ground Surveillance Systems Operator), 96U (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator), or military branch equivalent.</li><li>Two years of hands-on experience in performing operations and maintenance tasks either on an AEROSTAT system or a related industry/military equivalent is required.</li><li>Must be qualified at the 10 series or greater level (via military or civilian technical schools) is required.</li><li>Ability to read electronic schematics.</li><li>O&M of electro-mechanical equipment to include one or more of the following: Hydraulic/servo valves Hydraulic actuators, control systems Test and diagnostic equipment</li><li>2) Networking, IT & information systems</li><li>Two years experience is required.</li><li>Must be qualified at the 10 series or greater level; MOS 25B/F or other military branch equivalent or industry occupational specialties as a CISCO Network Administrator; Army MOS 25L/N or other military branch equivalent or industry occupational specialties as a Network Installation (BICSI or Network + or Comp T Certification) will be considered.</li><li>CCIE certification with fiber optic certification is preferred.</li><li>3) Mechanical Maintenance</li><li>Mechanical Maintenance with qualifications at the 10 series or greater from U.S. Army MOS 94D/X and 91/B/S/W or other military branch equivalent, or industry occupational specialties such National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Truck Mechanic or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) General Mechanic 1 or greater.</li><li>Two years of hands-on experience on an AEROSTAT system or a related industry/military equivalent is required.</li><li>O&M of mechanical equipment to include one or more of the following: Hydraulic systems, Winch systems, Tether/cable handling systems, Industrial generator sets, Power switch gear, HVAC, Cranes Aerial lift , Forklift , Industrial generator sets</li></ul></ul><p>Physical Requirements:</p><p>Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift. Required the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift. Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift. Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift. Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.</p><p>Medical Requirements:</p><p>Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for the duration of the deployment.</p><p>Working and Living Conditions:</p><p>This position may be located in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to CENTCOM, EUCOM, and AFRICOM for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums.</p>

<h1>Requirements</h1>
<p><strong>Essential</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Fluency in English and the working language of the CO, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, data visualisation, or information management.</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team.</li>
<li>Experience with Power BI and DAX, or similar BI software (such as Tableau).</li>
<li>Proficiency in database management using SQL.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge in GIS software and systems (e.g. using QGIS or ArcGIS).</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, GIS, or relevant field.</li>
<li>Experience working with humanitarian organisations, particularly NGOs operating in complex contexts.</li>
<li>Proficiency or familiarity with Persian and/or Pashto</li>
<li>Knowledge of the regional context or previous professional experience in the region.</li>
<li>Experience delivering training or capacity building related to data or information management tools.</li>
