Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) to join our Quick Service Restaurants <strong>team</strong> and help our enterprise clients deliver a great mobile ordering experience for both end-customers as well as for their restaurant staff. While fuel and electricity are mostly continuous, almost all households and many businesses face high energy costs for heating and cooling, especially vulnerable groups, alongside concerns about system reliability, and preparedness for future extreme events, these findings show an increased pressure on the already vulnerable community in Azraq. Building on these findings, Mercy Corps has partnered with JREEEF (Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund) to plan and implement an energy related intervention, as detailed below.</span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><span >&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><b><span >Intervention Design Overview</span></b></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><span >Under Tabeaa's partnership with JREEEF, the intervention will be built around two complementary components, brought together for a more cohesive approach to energy resilience in Azraq. It will address energy affordability in the district through four key phases, each reinforcing the other.</span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><span >&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><span >The hard stream will deliver direct support to 40 households, installing solar water heaters by one of JREEEF’s trusted providers to reduce water heating costs, which will in turn lower beneficiary households' overall energy bills in Azraq.</span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><span >The soft stream will run alongside it and is what will make the hard stream accurate and sustainable. Fifteen youth participants, from local graduates of renewable energy engineering or other similar field of study, will be recruited and trained through a capacity building workshop covering assessment methodology, use of energy-based measuring devices, and data management. Once trained, the youth participants will collect data on the households level confirming which are genuinely most vulnerable against the agreed criteria and establishing each household's baseline energy and affordability. This baseline will give the intervention a reference point against which savings can later be measured once the solar water heater is installed.&nbsp; Training and engaging youth participants for this stream will serve two purposes, placing assessors in the field who understand the local context and can engage households effectively, and giving these young engineers a first practical application of their qualification with direct relevance to future employment in the sector.</span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><span >&nbsp;</span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal" ><span >The youth participants will then be engaged a second time in wider community awareness.
