<p>Under the supervision of the Human Resources and Operations Manager, the Procurement and Operations Assistant is responsible for managing the office's daily procurement and operational activities, ensuring the timely acquisition and delivery of goods, services, and works in full compliance with Amideast's Procurement Policy and internal procedures. The incumbent plays a key role in procuring high-quality, cost-effective goods and services while ensuring value for money, timely delivery, and adherence to approved budgets. The position is also responsible for coordinating facility maintenance activities and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the office premises are safe, functional, and well maintained. In addition, the incumbent oversees outsourced service providers, including cleaning, security, maintenance, and catering, monitors service quality and staff performance, and supports the efficient operation of the office. The Procurement and Operations Assistant also provides backup support to the HR and Operations Assistant, as required.</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Main Duties:</p><p>Procurement</p><ul><li>Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation in the designated systems and databases.</li><li>Maintain and update procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure alignment with Amideast's Procurement Policy.</li><li>Manage inventory levels and coordinate the timely procurement and replenishment of office supplies.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and suppliers throughout the procurement process.</li><li>Conduct market research to identify qualified suppliers and evaluate the quality, availability, and cost of products and services.</li><li>Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Build and maintain productive relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.</li><li>Prepare, review, and process procurement documentation in accordance with Amideast's procurement policies, procedures, and approval requirements.</li><li>Recommend vendors for award and maintain the preferred vendor database.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.</li><li>Support the Finance Department by coordinating the distribution of vendor cheques.</li><li>Process courier shipments by entering the required information into the related system.</li><li>Coordinate the procurement of goods and services for Amideast events and activities.</li><li>Manage user access by adding or removing employees from the Careem business account.</li><li>Perform other procurement- and operations-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>Facility Management (in coordination with the HR and Operations Assistant)</p><ul><li>Maintain and update facility management and maintenance SOPs in accordance with Amideast guidelines.</li><li>Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, safe, and professionally maintained.</li><li>Coordinate catering and related logistical services for meetings, events, and training activities.</li><li>Serve as one of the designated focal points for maintenance requests and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure their timely and effective resolution.</li><li>Monitor building maintenance and repair activities to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the required standard.</li><li>Communicate regularly with office staff regarding maintenance schedules, operational updates, and facility-related matters.</li><li>Monitor and oversee the performance of cleaning and security personnel, including attendance and service delivery, and coordinate with relevant parties as needed.</li><li>Prepare and manage daily cleaning schedules and assignments.</li><li>Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and housekeeping issues and coordinate corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure cleaning and security teams are informed of priorities and operational requirements.</li></ul><p>Human Resources (in coordination with the HR and Operations Assistant)</p><ul><li>Screen resumes and applications received for Amideast vacancy announcements.</li><li>Enroll eligible employees in the medical insurance program.</li><li>Process employee removals from the medical insurance program upon separation or changes in eligibility.</li><li>Provide backup support for HR administrative processes, as assigned.</li><li>Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office.</p><ul><li>Computer (laptop or desktop)</li><li>Printer/Photocopier/Scanner/Fax</li><li>Telephone</li></ul><p>Up to 5% business travel may be needed to support the department as needed. <li>Design, document, and support interoperability solutions between PIMS and external systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS), Health Information Systems (HIS), ERPs, DHIS2, and other partner platforms.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain technical integration specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), API documentation, field mapping documents, and data transformation rules.</li>
<li>Analyze partner systems, data models, and workflows to identify integration requirements, interoperability challenges, and opportunities for automation.</li>

<p>We are growing our engineering team and are looking for a technically strong Engineering Manager to lead one of our delivery teams. This is a delivery-focused leadership role: your job is to turn a cross-functional roadmap into shipped, high-quality software on a predictable cadence, while providing the technical insight and guidance needed to keep delivery pragmatic, reliable, and well-executed. The team has two clear areas of ownership. First, the Hotels domain, the guest-facing and hotel-operations features that serve our enterprise hotel customers, from in-room and on-property ordering through to stay-management and guest-services capabilities. Second, third-party integrations such as POS's (Point of Sale), PMS (Property Management System), payment gateways, and loyalty connections that the Hotels business depends on, where you own the technical relationship end-to-end. This role reports to the Engineering Director.</p><p>Your mission</p><p>You own the delivery health of your squad end-to-end. You take a mixed backlog of integration, platform, and product work and ship it predictably, at high quality, with the dependencies managed and the risks surfaced early.</p><p>Key responsibilities</p><ul><li>Manage a team of full stack engineers, actively drive their growth, performance, and engagement. <p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p>
<p>The NATO Liaison Office (NLO) Jordan in Amman represents NATO in Jordan, with the aim of enhancing political dialogue and practical cooperation in areas of common interest between the Alliance and Jordan, building on their longstanding partnership bilaterally and in the framework of the Mediterranean Dialogue (MD). The NLO enables regular engagement between NATO and the Jordanian authorities and contributes to the development and implementation of partnership programmes and activities.</p>
<p>The Driver provides reliable and safe driving and delivery services for the NLO, NATO staff, and visitors in Jordan, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, integrity and safety. As a member of the Administrative Support Section, the incumbent performs secondary tasks related to the smooth running of the NLO. The incumbent should be flexible to work outside of normal working hours. </p>
<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p>
<p><strong>ESSENTIAL</strong></p>
<p>The incumbent must:</p>

<li>have a minimum of three years of work experience as a professional driver;</li>

<p><strong>MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES </strong></p>

<li>Provide support for the everyday transportation of the NLO staff and, when needed, related officials/visitors;</li>
<li>Maintain an overall situational awareness regarding the security situation in the area of operations and keep updated on the local traffic situation and current/planned roadworks and traffic conditions;</li>

Starting Date : ASAP Location : Amman, Jordan COUNTRY PROFILE The humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) has reached dire levels, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where ongoing hostilities have resulted in mass displacement, the collapse of basic services, and a near-total breakdown of civilian infrastructure. With 2.1 million people affected, access to food, water, healthcare, and shelter remains critically limited. The scale of destruction and access constraints have created an environment where humanitarian needs far exceed available resources. Together, these dynamics have driven acute and widespread humanitarian needs. Against this backdrop, IMPACT Initiatives is planning a range of research activities to support an evidence- and needs-based humanitarian response. In 2026, IMPACT will conduct a number of cash and market assessments in order to better inform the response as it responds to the post ceasefire context. POSITION PROFILE Under the line management of the Research Manager, the Senior Assessment Officer is jointly responsible for the implementation of REACH s Shelter and Site Management assessments, including the preparation, data collection, analysis, drafting, dissemination, and evaluation stages. The primary assessment sitting under the SAO will be the Comprehensive Shelter Needs Assessment and associated Joint Analysis Workshop. <p>This is to announce that Amman delegation has a <strong><u>vacancy</u></strong> for <strong>Open-Source Information (OSI) Analyst</strong> at the <strong>Protection Unit in Amman, Jordan.</strong></p>
<p>The OSI Analyst works within the multidisciplinary Search Team under the PFL Deputy Protection in Damascus with the OSI Manager in Geneva as his/her functional manager to provide strategic direction to the response to the Syria missing file. In close coordination with the PFL researchers, Forensic expert, and A&E, the OSI Analyst plays a central role in enhancing the Search Team’s response by ensuring that OSI relevant to the Syria caseload is systematically collected, verified, organized, and made available for analysis. This includes both historical data gathered in the aftermath of the fall of the former Syrian government and any new OSI that emerges, with the aim of contributing to the documentation of protection concerns and providing leads and linkage of information to aid the search for missing persons.</p>
<p>S/he contributes to the identification of thematic and geographic priorities for OSI collection, supports the triangulation of findings with internal data, witness accounts, GIS information, and privileged data obtained from external organizations through data sharing agreements. The OSI Analyst ensures that the use of OSI follows a rigorous, ethical, and protection-sensitive methodology.</p>
<p>This position supports the analysis of individual cases and internal data particularly in light of available OSI and privileged external data obtained through data sharing agreements. Working in close coordination with PFL researchers, Forensic experts, A&E analysts, the OSI Analyst contributes to building a solid and actionable knowledge base to inform search strategies, documentation efforts, providing leads to aid the Search. </p>
<p>The OSI Analyst also advises on best practices for data sourcing and verification, develops tools and procedures for quality control, and ensures that the data produced can support timely and evidence-based decision-making, including opportunities to provide partial results to families of the missing. Additionally, the OSI Analyst contributes to institutional working groups focused on building data science and AI foundations for protection work, with the Syria Missing File serving as a key use case.</p>

<p><strong><u>RELATIONSHIPS </u></strong></p>

<li>Internally: Works closely with the wider Search Team in Amman, Damascus and Beirut, including colleagues in Forensics, A&E, and PFL, and other Protection colleagues in Damascus, Amman, and Beirut. As a contributor to Project aiming at Building the Data Science and AI Foundations for Protection work, for which Syria Missing has been identified as a use case, this position works closely with the Protection Business process owner, the Syria Missing Coordination Cell and other colleagues in HQ and in the field associated to this project.</li>
<li>Externally: In close coordination with the PFL Deputy Protection Coordinator in Damascus, DAM PROT and the Syria Missing Coordination Cell, engages with organizations that act as repositories of relevant data (e.g., IIIM, IIMP, SJAC, CIJA etc.), as well as other stakeholders contributing to the clarification of the fate and whereabouts of missing persons.</li>

<p><strong><u>ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Works closely with protection staff and coordination to complement documentation efforts in the field, provide supplementary analysis of priority events, and monitor trends to inform follow-up action.</li>
<li>Undertakes identification, verification (including geolocation, chronolocation and source assessment), and advanced analysis of digital material, and produces clear analytical outputs in support of the Search Team, including but not limited to incident reports, analytical notes, relational charts, timelines. Triangulates OSI findings with internal case data, witness accounts, forensic information, and privileged external data obtained through data sharing agreements, to generate and validate leads for the search for missing persons.</li>
<li>Proactively identifies and, on request, responds to leads relating to the fate and whereabouts of missing persons, and advises the Search Team on potential sources of information, including electronic media, social media, potential witnesses (victims, insiders, experts, or others), telecommunications data, and archives</li>
<li>Implements and advances established open-source research methodologies to ensure professional standards and adherence to ICRC NIIHA approach throughout the analytical process.</li>
<li>Regularly monitors, reviews, and analyses open-source information related to the missing (historical and new caseload) and to protection, and integrates internal case data to provide an updated analytical picture relevant to the Search Team and the situation in Syria. Monitors and assesses trends related to the conduct of hostilities and related to protection concerns through secondary data, including open-source data, to provide timely and reliable information to guide decision-making.</li>
<li>Maintains a structured record of verified findings, coordinates, source materials, and analytical decisions to ensure the traceability, defensibility, and reproducibility of analytical outputs.</li>
<li>Participates in institutional initiatives, such as the Data Science and AI Foundations project, by contributing insights from field-based case analysis. This position may be required to test tools (either identified or developed within the project framework) and evaluate their functionality for the Search.</li>

<p>Islamic Relief Jordan is a country branch of Islamic Relief Worldwide. Islamic Relief Worldwide is an internationally recognized charity (Charity No.: 328158), looking back on nearly 42 years of experience in humanitarian and developmental aid. It was founded in 1984 in Birmingham, UK, in response to the devastating famine in the Horn of Africa. Since then, Islamic Relief has grown into a charity that is active worldwide, putting development projects, emergency aid, and rebuilding projects into action in over 44 countries around the world.</p>
<p>Islamic Relief Jordan (IRJ) began its operations in 1997 with orphan’s sponsorship, sponsoring hundreds of orphans living in Jordan. IRJ extended its programs to seasonal projects with Ramadan and Qurbani distributions and In-Kind donations. IRJ has established strong partnership with international non-governmental organization and local one’s strengthening the overall response to the Syria crisis. At the onset of Syria humanitarian crisis in late 2011, IRJ provided emergency response to those affected by violence in Syria and has since then scaled up its capacity and operations with number of 70 staff across the country.</p>
<p>IRJ programme department works toward introducing relevant interventions to Jordanians as well as Syrians and Palestinians refugees that would impact their lives and improve their life conditions. IRJ programme act upon IRW mandate and in line with IR-Middle East and Eastern Europe strategy that aims to ensure Safe, dignified and peaceful living conditions for refugees, IDPs and vulnerable groups as well as communities at risk of disasters in the Middle East. IRJ office has expanded with the Syrian crisis Since 2011, reaching more than 200,000 refugees by 2013 with an annual income of 35,000,000 GBP. </p>
<p>The department has successfully introduced interventions in a multi-sectors response, being the lead agency responsible for humanitarian assistance in the north of Jordan, reaching more than 80,000 beneficiaries in 2025 and continue providing access to food, health care, cash for shelter and non-food items such as hygiene kits and winterization items in 2021. The programme department is now strategizing the Syrian crisis response in Jordan and working toward a holistic integrated approach with the host community and planning to move toward sustainable development through introducing innovative approaches in education promotion, community development and economic empowerment.</p>
