DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Interns may be assigned tasks, including but not limited to: - Assist in the development and revision of learning materials by conducting content analysis and ensuring alignment with UN principles and UNESCO standards. - Assist in research and policy review by gathering and synthesising relevant literature, data, and case studies. - Provide support in drafting and reviewing policy documents, including summarizing key issues and recommendations. - Contribute to strategic discussions by preparing background briefs, meeting notes, and summaries of workshops, training sessions, and seminars. - Assist in developing reports and presentations by organising information in a clear and accessible format. - Manage workflow of project coordination tasks related to education policy and curriculum development. - Conduct desk research on best practices in education policy, digital learning, and teacher capacity-building. - Ensure that quality requirements for the finalization of key documents align with UNRWA branding guidelines.<br> Qualifications/special skills<br>Education: * Be enrolled in an accredited first-level, higher education programme (Bachelor or equivalent); * Be enrolled in an accredited graduate school programme (Master or higher or equivalent); or * Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in paragraphs a and b above), and if selected, must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation. <p><b>Position Purpose</b></p><p><br></p><p>The Finance Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s financial strategy, leading all finance and accounting activities, and ensuring robust financial control, regulatory compliance, reliable reporting, and effective risk management. Treasury, Cash Flow, and Banking</p><p><br></p><p>Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities to ensure the Company can meet its operational and investment requirements.</p><p>Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding plans, monitor covenant compliance, and optimize the use of available funds.</p><p>Build and maintain strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions and lead financing, facility, guarantee, and banking negotiations.</p><p>Recommend an appropriate capital structure and funding mix to balance cost, risk, flexibility, and return.</p><p> 6. <p><strong>Dimension of post</strong></p>
<p>Reconstructive Surgery Hospital with an average of 520 admissions per year, over 1000 surgeries annually, 50 surgical beds and 69 rehabilitation beds, 2 OTs for orthopedic, maxillo-facial and plastic reconstructive surgeries, OPD with an average 550 consultations / month, physiotherapy and psychosocial department, and Antimicrobial Resistance activity (Stewardship, IPC and Micro laboratory) within the hospital.</p>
<h3>SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<p>Carry out all activities aimed at addressing individuals’ social critical needs (related to assistance and/or protection), promoting their overall well-being and autonomy through social support, and strengthening com-munity-based social interventions (depending on the scope of the social work component in the project). These activities should consider the social determinants of health to ensure a holistic approach to people’s needs and to uphold the well-being, safety, agency and dignity of MSF patients.</p>

<li>According to eligibility criteria, receive individuals and assess their situation performing thorough assessments of cases to identify vulnerabilities and social critical needs.</li>

<li>According to the project’s intervention criteria and with the person’s consent, provide individuals with direct assistance or referrals according to pre-established safe referral pathways.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the hospital director and social work supervisor, create and maintain safe supportive networks with institutional and external actors for referrals.</li>
<li>Under the supervision of the Social Worker Supervisor, contribute to the definition and the internal dissemination of criteria for detection of individuals with social critical needs.</li>
<li>Ensure follow up of the case and conclude with case closure.</li>
<li>Initiate and/or take active part to multidisciplinary discussions with the relevant medical and mental health care providers.</li>
<li>Enhance two-way communication and patient agency: ensure the active participation of patients in the decision regarding their health and social situation.</li>
<li>Manage complex or sensitive cases under the supervision of the social work supervisor and the hospital director and in collaboration with other relevant staff members involved and contribute to the definition of the best approach to address the individuals’ needs while considering risk and protective factors.</li>

<h3>PROFILE</h3>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) or other relevant degree in Social sciences, Psychology, law.</li>
<li>Two years minimum in a similar social job; (a social worker/case worker/ protection officer), managing complex cases with critical social needs (protection, psychosocial, sexual and gender-based violence, key populations etc.), carrying out community social services or social services in health facilities.</li>
<li>Experience with MSF or other NGOs, desirable.</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of and ability to navigate the national/local social wel-fare system.</li>
