<p>Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the lounge, ensuring smooth service flow in alignment with Fairmont’s service standards.<br>
Ensure the lounge’s ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation reflect the brand’s refined image.<br>
Monitor product quality and consistency across all food and beverage offerings.<br>
Work closely with the culinary and bar teams to curate and update menus that meet guest preferences and brand positioning.<br>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>

<h4>Qualification & Experience Required</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.</li>
<li>10-15+ years of progressive experience in planning, designing, and delivering large-scale data centers, including multiple Uptime Tier III/IV projects.</li>
<li>Responsible for the end-to-end design, delivery, and technical leadership of mission-critical data centre facilities. You will act as the single technical authority, interfacing directly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet performance, reliability, and compliance targets from design inception through to delivery.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of MV/LV power distribution, UPS, emergency generators, CRAC units, economizers, chilled-water systems, VFDs, fire detection/suppression, BMS, and DCIM platforms.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of latest data centre system trends and technologies such as liquid-cooling are highly desirable.</li>
<li>Preferred experience with fast track design/build projects and/or multiple significant upgrade projects for large-scale technical operations or large-scale compute farms.</li>

<p><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong></p>
<p>The Proposal Writing & Business Development Manager leads Amideast Jordan’s efforts to expand its donor and client portfolio by identifying funding opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and advancing new business in alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities. The role works closely with the Country Director, headquarters, technical teams in the Jordan office as well as regionally, and external partners to strengthen Amideast’s market positioning and pursue new opportunities.</p>
<p>The incumbent manages the business development process from opportunity identification through proposal submission by researching donor priorities and client needs, pursuing and meeting with new potential clients, assessing Amideast’s service portfolio, and working with technical and operational teams to design responsive, feasible solutions. The role prepares competitive technical and cost proposals, ensures compliance with Amideast’s internal processes, secures required approvals, meets submission deadlines, and maintains relationships with current and prospective donors and clients to support sustainable organizational growth.</p>

Controls purchases and inventory by negotiating prices and contracts, developing preferred supplier lists, reviewing and evaluating usage reports, and taking corrective action. Applies sound revenue management strategies to secure the right level of business at the most optimal time to yield maximum revenues. Leading Significant Marketing/Public Relations/Media Activities Oversees the restaurant marketing plan in partnership with the either the Hotel General Manager/ Manager or Director of Operations and Hotel/Brand Marketing teams including Destination Restaurant Chef, if applicable. Supports on-site/off-site public relations opportunities to promote the restaurant. Creates and executes against the restaurant-related social media posts and public event communications, monitors social media activity, responds to comments, analyzes posts/trends, and corrects deficiencies. Serves as the primary point of contact for restaurant events. Participates in local networking activities, which are often off-property, in support of the restaurant. Managing Day-to-Day Restaurant Operations Supervises and manages employees. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence. Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas. Conducts daily "taste panels" to educate, drive sales and create sales goals. Monitors appropriateness of ambiance/atmosphere (e.g., lighting, music, table-top, etc.) restaurant concept, positioning, time of day, etc. Monitors compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Monitors adherence to liquor control policies and procedures. Maintains and monitors all collateral, menus and guest touch points such that all are pristine and free of tears, stains and noticeable wear and tear. Monitors alcohol beverage service for compliance with local laws. Monitors compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures, including food handling and sanitation standards. Assists servers and hosts on the floor during meal periods and high demand times. Advocates sound financial/business decision making. Manages day-to-day operations so that customer expectations of quality and standards are meet on a daily basis. Recognizes good quality products and presentations. Supervises daily shift operations in absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager. Oversees the financial aspects of the department including purchasing and payment of invoices.
