<h4>Job description</h4>
<p>Should have comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all the outlets' unique selling points, features, amenities, services, and policies and those of the competition.<br>
Identify and target potential market opportunities to expand the business.<br>
Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients.<br>
Work closely with the Sales & Revenue Department as the point of contact for all F&B related bookings and enquiries, in close coordination with the Outlet Managers to promote special events and occasions.<br>
Achieve all individual hotel food & beverage sales targets in your area by maintaining and creating a close relationship with customers.<br>
Generate new and maintain existing customer relationships through various sales activities and create awareness of the hotel outlets and facilities through face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, site inspections, etc., to ensure complete coverage of own portfolio of accounts and achieve set targets and maximum possible productivity.<br>
Ensure that all incoming requests are addressed within 24 hours in order to avoid customer complaints and loss of business.<br>
Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues in order to avoid internal or external complaints.<br>
Closely monitor the accounts' revenue and business production of own business portfolio and maintain an up-to-date “Account & Contact Database” in the property management system as well as maintain end of month production reports.<br>

Provide feedback to the Director of Food & Beverage on changing market conditions, review direct competition and conduct regular research to identify new selling strategies.<br>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>

<p>BACKGROUND ON IMPACT AND REACH IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian NGO, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organisation manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative. The IMPACT team comprises specialists in data collection, management and analysis, GIS and remote sensing. IMPACT was launched at the initiative of ACTED, an international NGO with headquarters based in Paris and presence in thirty countries. The two organizations have a strong complementarity formalized in a global partnership, which allows IMPACT to benefit from ACTED s operational support in its fields of intervention. We are currently looking for a Senior Assessment Officer to support our team in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) Position: Senior Assessment Officer Shelter & Site Management Contract duration: 3 months and half with possibility of extension (Pending funding confirmation). Starting Date : ASAP Location : Amman, Jordan COUNTRY PROFILE The humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) has reached dire levels, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where ongoing hostilities have resulted in mass displacement, the collapse of basic services, and a near-total breakdown of civilian infrastructure. With 2.1 million people affected, access to food, water, healthcare, and shelter remains critically limited. The scale of destruction and access constraints have created an environment where humanitarian needs far exceed available resources. Together, these dynamics have driven acute and widespread humanitarian needs. Against this backdrop, IMPACT Initiatives is planning a range of research activities to support an evidence- and needs-based humanitarian response. In 2026, IMPACT will conduct a number of cash and market assessments in order to better inform the response as it responds to the post ceasefire context. POSITION PROFILE Under the line management of the Research Manager, the Senior Assessment Officer is jointly responsible for the implementation of REACH s Shelter and Site Management assessments, including the preparation, data collection, analysis, drafting, dissemination, and evaluation stages. The primary assessment sitting under the SAO will be the Comprehensive Shelter Needs Assessment and associated Joint Analysis Workshop. Additionally, targeted assessments are expected to be developed and implemented throughout the contracted period. Extensive external coordination is expected, both in facilitating the assessment and positioning IMPACT within the newly forming Shelter, Land and Sites cluster. This position requires strong research skills, an analytical mind, creativity, independence, and an interest in the context. Candidates should have strong writing and presentation skills and be able to clearly think through and articulate implications of research findings. RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Assessment Officer s responsibilities include: PROJECT/RESEARCH CYCLE MANAGEMENT • Ensuring the assessment, analysis, and support material development are planned and implemented in a structured and coherent manner, in line with relevant project and strategic objectives, and with global IMPACT guidelines. • Managing the relevant assessment cycle stages, including oversight of research design, data collection, or analysis. • Collaborating with other members of the IMPACT Shelter and Sites team and ensuring alignment and efficiency between team activities and outputs. CONTEXTUAL UNDERSTANDING • Guiding secondary data review and efforts to better understand the information landscape, and how the assessment contributes to strategic response objectives. • Keeping up to date with the shifting oPt context, especially around the Shelter, Land and Sites cluster merge. RESEARCH AND TECHNICAL SKILLS • Develop and implement specific Sites and Shelter based assessments. The candidate should have a technical interest in research development on areas relating to shelter vulnerability, displaced person vulnerabilities, site management (including site profiling, site community engagement, site care and maintenance) • Comprehensive secondary data review for triangulating relevant assessment data • Development of additional support materials to ensure operational efficiencies and output effectiveness, including necessary guidance notes, KII facilitation guides and training materials. • Analysis of the collected data and drafting of the relevant outputs (i.e., shelter vulnerability reporting). • Experience working with qualitative assessments would be an advantage • Experience in attending and/or facilitating joint analysis workshops (e.g. IPC) would be an advantage STAFF MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING • Based on the developed training materials, supporting the training of the trainers and data collection staff on assessment objectives and tools, including in collaboration with project implementation partners. • Promoting capacity building across the IMPACT oPt mission related to deepening analytical capacities using existing research (capacity building portfolio will depend on level of experience). • Providing day-to-day direct and indirect management of the research team within their workstream. COORDINATION Internal Coordination • Interacting autonomously with HQ departments and may serve as mission focal point for particular themes or technical areas; • Coordinating with research units and teams to move forward or improve aspects of the research cycle; • Supporting senior management with designing, planning, and implementing strategies, and objectives. <p><strong>Project Background:</strong></p>
<p>The Jordan Himaya Activity aims to enhance the availability and quality of essential services and protection for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Jordan. The project works to improve survivor-centered institutional capacity and strengthen the legislative and policy frameworks that protect survivors and support effective responses to violence. Himaya applies a survivor-centered systems-strengthening approach to improve response services, and the implementation of survivor-centered legislation and policies.</p>
<p>As part of this effort, the Comprehensive Service Center (CSC) in East Amman is being established by the Family Protection and Juvenile Department (FPJD) as Jordan’s first fully co-located One-Stop Shop (OSS) for domestic and sexual violence response services. It will bring together relevant government and civil society service providers under one roof to support coordinated, confidential, trauma-informed, and survivor-centered access to protection, legal, health, psychosocial, social assistance, and referral services.</p>
<p>To support safe, accessible, and confidential navigation throughout the CSC, Himaya seeks a consultant to develop an internal and external wayfinding and signage system that promotes accessibility, privacy, reduces confusion and unnecessary waiting, and supports an empowering survivor-centered environment.</p>
<p>The CSC comprises of Three floors, with an approximate gross floor area of 3,754.14 m². The facility is designed to accommodate multiple government and partner service providers withing a single integrated survivor-centered environment. The functional distribution of the building is as follows:</p>

<p>The proposed wayfinding and signage system shall consider the multi-level layout, functional zoning, user journey, and the different privacy and accessibility requirements associated with each service area.</p>
<p><strong>Role’s Purpose:</strong></p>
<p>The consultant will design a comprehensive internal and external wayfinding and signage system for the CSC. The system should enable survivors and visitors to navigate the center safely, clearly, and with dignity, while supporting accessibility, confidentiality, trauma-informed service delivery, operational flow, and coordination across co-located service providers.</p>
<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>The consultant is expected to carry out the following: </p>

<p>Maintaining the safety and health of employees and safety work environment by ensure the implementation of safety policies and procedures as well as documenting and reporting work related injuries or accidents while detecting system vulnerabilities and recommending proactive procedures.</p><p>Ensure the implementation of all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, suggesting process improvements where applicable.</p><p>Conduct safety inspections and provide safety reports to the department head, advising on personal protective equipment, hazards, and safety rule violations.</p><p>Prepare and implement emergency plans according to company policies and procedures.</p><p>Act as an emergency team member, responding to fires, chemical spills, injuries, and other incidents at the facility.</p><p>Provide safety training for employees on regulations, policies, and procedures.</p><p>Ensure safety posters and rules are posted in visible locations in compliance with labor laws.</p><p>Maintain all firefighting equipment in good condition and conduct regular fire prevention and equipment inspections.</p><p>Coordinate mutual fire protection plans and emergency responses with local authorities and other departments.</p><p>Investigate work accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, recommending solutions such as improved training or modifications to work methods.</p><p>Develop and enforce policies covering environmental protection and nature conservation.</p><p>Monitor environmental quality, handle pollution complaints, and advise on the environmental impact of new policies.</p><p>Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, managing waste disposal and pollution control activities.</p><p>Report safety and environmental irregularities such as fire hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>B.A degree in Engineering, Science or any related field to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment.</li><li>0-2 years of experience in a related position, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and/ / or a large facility.</li><li>Excellent written, read and spoken Arabic and English.</li><li>National, international health and safety laws and policies.
