<span>Purpose of the Job
<br></span><p>The role will support budgeting activities, short- and long-term forecasting, financial analysis, and performance reporting across the organization, with a strong focus on forecast accuracy and management insights. </p><br><br>Job Description

<li>Work closely with business units, cost center owners, and regional finance teams to validate data, challenge assumptions, and improve forecast quality.</li>
<li>Support cost control, resource allocation, margin analysis, and profitability analysis across products, entities, and regions.</li>
<li>Assist in maintaining financial controls related to budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with internal policies and guidelines.</li>
<li>Support the enhancement of budgeting models, forecasting methodologies, and planning processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.</li>
<li>Utilize SAP and other FP&A tools to support planning, reporting, and data integrity.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to automate and streamline Excel-based processes and reporting.</li>
<li>Act as a technical reference and support point for junior team members on budgeting and forecasting matters.</li>
</ul><br>Job Requirements - Experience and Education
<br><ul>
<li>3-5 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, or financial analysis roles.</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience in short-term forecasting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of financial statements, cost structures, variance analysis, and performance management.</li>
<li>Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, Power Query, data validation); VBA/Macros is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, FP&A tools) is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.</li>
<li>Good communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.</li>

<li>Monitor bus movements using transportation orders, route plans, and the GPS tracking system to ensure timely and efficient crew transportation.</li>
<li>Plan, coordinate, and organize daily transportation schedules for cabin crew in accordance with approved crew rosters.</li>
<li>Adjust and update transportation schedules in response to roster amendments, flight delays, operational disruptions, or other changes.</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with Inflight Services, Crew Scheduling, and other operational departments to ensure uninterrupted crew transportation, particularly in cases of cabin crew no-shows or last-minute roster changes.</li>
<li>Communicate with cabin crew members regarding bus arrival times, pickup locations, schedule changes, and transportation updates.</li>
<li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transportation reports, including vehicle movement, crew transportation statistics, delays, and operational performance.</li>

<p>Islamic Relief Jordan (IRJ) began its operations in 1997 with orphan’s sponsorship, sponsoring hundreds of orphans living in Jordan. IRJ has established strong partnership with international non-governmental organization and local one’s strengthening the overall response to the Syria crisis. At the onset of Syria humanitarian crisis in late 2011, IRJ provided emergency response to those affected by violence in Syria and has since then scaled up its capacity and operations with number of 70 staff across the country.</p>
<p>IRJ programme department works toward introducing relevant interventions to Jordanians as well as Syrians and Palestinians refugees that would impact their lives and improve their life conditions. IRJ programme act upon IRW mandate and in line with IR-Middle East and Eastern Europe strategy that aims to ensure Safe, dignified and peaceful living conditions for refugees, IDPs and vulnerable groups as well as communities at risk of disasters in the Middle East. IRJ office has expanded with the Syrian crisis Since 2011, reaching more than 200,000 refugees by 2013 with an annual income of 35,000,000 GBP. </p>
<p>The department has successfully introduced interventions in a multi-sectors response, being the lead agency responsible for humanitarian assistance in the north of Jordan, reaching more than 80,000 beneficiaries in 2025 and continue providing access to food, health care, cash for shelter and non-food items such as hygiene kits and winterization items in 2021. Under the direct supervision of the Regional Finance Coordinator, the Regional Finance Officer provides technical support to the financial management of the region (regional office and country offices). He/she supports budget monitoring, in particular the optimization of the region's budgets, leads coordination between countries and the region, and actively participates in the preparation and annual review of budgets.
