<p><strong>Support the delivery of effective management of a center for 350-450 children by:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Field officer for early learning center which rungs 5 day a week in 2 shift, one in the morning 9:00 – 11:30 and one shift 12:00 – 2:30 from Sunday through Thursday.</li>
<li>Line-supervisor for the staff whom at the center: teachers, parents program facilitators and Syrian volunteers</li>
<li>Responsible for insuring best practice of children’s enrolment, and attendance records.</li>
<li>Follow up on the weekly Reporting in writing on the progress of the running of the Early learning center.</li>
<li>Secure that the activities are in accordance with the SCJ activities and plans.</li>
<li>Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the center.</li>
<li>Ensure that the child Safe Grading is implemented in the center</li>
<li>Ensure a variety of structured games and activities for the children in the center.</li>
<li>Establish a rotation system to promote the sharing of equipment and games between classes.</li>
<li>Be a positive role model and demonstrate conflict-solving behaviors.</li>
<li>Ensure that all games and equipment are accounted and stored securely at the end of the day.</li>
<li>Follow up on the parent/teacher committees, and conduct regularly meetings with the committees including minutes taking in order to identify issues or problems for groups or specific children in the center.</li>
<li>Screen for and monitor protection issues in the center and coordinate with child protection team for case referring.</li>
<li>Working with PDQ staff in coordination in order to ensure the quality of the programme activities.</li>
<li>Documenting in a timely manner, all progress challenges, and learning for future implementation</li>
<li>Plan and initiate procurement for the center based on the needs.</li>
<li>prepare the work plans for the center, reports and other project or management materials.</li>
<li>Write Safety and Security Reports and keeping the incident database updated in cooperation with Safety and security team if needed.</li>
<li>Keep posted the project manager and all centre’s Staff in the Field from time to time of changing safety and security situation all over country and camp (incidents). .</li>
<li>Report and follow-up an incident when it is being reported with providing support to effected staff members.</li>
<li>Participate in Representing Save the Children in relevant coordination mechanisms in Camps</li>
<li>Coordination with Support departments.</li>
<li>Conduct non-systematic activities and integrate parents into activities.</li>
<li>Oversee all matters related to deliveries to children inside or outside center .</li>
<li>Update and development of the existing programm at the center in coordination with project manager.</li>
<li>Identify the problems and difficulties that may face at the centre in coordination with project manager.</li>
<li>Other detailed tasks fall within the scope of the work.</li>
<li>Provide the team technical support with all their needs to ensure the quality of work.</li>
<li>Carry out the functions of planning and follow-up, monitoring and evaluation.</li>
<li>Prepare and manage training programs to develop the capacities of the beneficiaries of the project by identifying needs in coordination with project manager.</li>

<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong> </p>
<p>The Roving HR Officer provides Human Resource support for the HR department. This role will be responsible for HR operational oversight of key HR functions including Talent Acquisition and management, Staff Relations, and Performance Management support etc.</p>
<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation.</p>
<p><strong>MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Act as the primary HR focal point during scheduled rotations or urgent deployments to Zaatari Camp, Azraq Camp, or any other assigned operation sites.</li>
<li>Provide direct, accessible HR services to field-based staff, national employees, and incentive-based volunteers (IBVs), addressing inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and contracts.</li>
<li>Coordinate field-specific HR administrative workflows, including physical file collection, contract distributions and making sure the contracts are signed by each employee, and time attendance sheet verifications.</li>
<li>Participate in reviewing national staff policies and recommend changes/additions/deletions to the HR Manager.</li>
<li>Provide support to program and operations staff in interpretation of HR policies and procedures and provide technical support on HR issues, as directed by supervisor.</li>
<li>Work with HR and Management on implementation of strategic planning of the department.</li>

<p>BACKGROUND ON IMPACT AND REACH IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian NGO, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organisation manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative. The IMPACT team comprises specialists in data collection, management and analysis, GIS and remote sensing. IMPACT was launched at the initiative of ACTED, an international NGO with headquarters based in Paris and presence in thirty countries. The two organizations have a strong complementarity formalized in a global partnership, which allows IMPACT to benefit from ACTED s operational support in its fields of intervention. We are currently looking for a Senior Assessment Officer to support our team in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) Position: Senior Assessment Officer Shelter & Site Management Contract duration: 3 months and half with possibility of extension (Pending funding confirmation). Starting Date : ASAP Location : Amman, Jordan COUNTRY PROFILE The humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) has reached dire levels, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where ongoing hostilities have resulted in mass displacement, the collapse of basic services, and a near-total breakdown of civilian infrastructure. With 2.1 million people affected, access to food, water, healthcare, and shelter remains critically limited. The scale of destruction and access constraints have created an environment where humanitarian needs far exceed available resources. Together, these dynamics have driven acute and widespread humanitarian needs. Against this backdrop, IMPACT Initiatives is planning a range of research activities to support an evidence- and needs-based humanitarian response. In 2026, IMPACT will conduct a number of cash and market assessments in order to better inform the response as it responds to the post ceasefire context. POSITION PROFILE Under the line management of the Research Manager, the Senior Assessment Officer is jointly responsible for the implementation of REACH s Shelter and Site Management assessments, including the preparation, data collection, analysis, drafting, dissemination, and evaluation stages. The primary assessment sitting under the SAO will be the Comprehensive Shelter Needs Assessment and associated Joint Analysis Workshop. Additionally, targeted assessments are expected to be developed and implemented throughout the contracted period. Extensive external coordination is expected, both in facilitating the assessment and positioning IMPACT within the newly forming Shelter, Land and Sites cluster. This position requires strong research skills, an analytical mind, creativity, independence, and an interest in the context. Candidates should have strong writing and presentation skills and be able to clearly think through and articulate implications of research findings. RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Assessment Officer s responsibilities include: PROJECT/RESEARCH CYCLE MANAGEMENT • Ensuring the assessment, analysis, and support material development are planned and implemented in a structured and coherent manner, in line with relevant project and strategic objectives, and with global IMPACT guidelines. • Managing the relevant assessment cycle stages, including oversight of research design, data collection, or analysis. • Collaborating with other members of the IMPACT Shelter and Sites team and ensuring alignment and efficiency between team activities and outputs. CONTEXTUAL UNDERSTANDING • Guiding secondary data review and efforts to better understand the information landscape, and how the assessment contributes to strategic response objectives. • Keeping up to date with the shifting oPt context, especially around the Shelter, Land and Sites cluster merge. RESEARCH AND TECHNICAL SKILLS • Develop and implement specific Sites and Shelter based assessments. The candidate should have a technical interest in research development on areas relating to shelter vulnerability, displaced person vulnerabilities, site management (including site profiling, site community engagement, site care and maintenance) • Comprehensive secondary data review for triangulating relevant assessment data • Development of additional support materials to ensure operational efficiencies and output effectiveness, including necessary guidance notes, KII facilitation guides and training materials. • Analysis of the collected data and drafting of the relevant outputs (i.e., shelter vulnerability reporting). • Experience working with qualitative assessments would be an advantage • Experience in attending and/or facilitating joint analysis workshops (e.g. IPC) would be an advantage STAFF MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING • Based on the developed training materials, supporting the training of the trainers and data collection staff on assessment objectives and tools, including in collaboration with project implementation partners. • Promoting capacity building across the IMPACT oPt mission related to deepening analytical capacities using existing research (capacity building portfolio will depend on level of experience). • Providing day-to-day direct and indirect management of the research team within their workstream. COORDINATION Internal Coordination • Interacting autonomously with HQ departments and may serve as mission focal point for particular themes or technical areas; • Coordinating with research units and teams to move forward or improve aspects of the research cycle; • Supporting senior management with designing, planning, and implementing strategies, and objectives. REQUIREMENTS • Years of work experience 3 years of relevant working experience in a humanitarian setting, such as assessments, monitoring and evaluation, research design and analysis, etc.; •</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Excellent academic qualifications, including a master s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. international studies, development, humanitarian response, data science, political science, etc.);</p><p>3 years of relevant working experience in a humanitarian setting, such as assessments, monitoring and evaluation, research design and analysis, etc.;</p><p>Excellent quantitative and qualitative research data analysis experience required, including experience with key informant interviews and quantitative tool design (KoBo);</p><p>Experience in complex sampling design considered an advantage, ability to interpret descriptive statistics essential</p><p>Good understanding of the aid system and the research community. Prior experience with humanitarian coordination forums preferred;</p><p>Prior experience with Sites and Shelter research, or related professional experience, is required;</p><p>Excellent verbal and written communication and drafting skills for effective reporting required;</p><p>Sound judgment and emotional intelligence in high-pressure or sensitive situations. Possesses strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to respond constructively to feedback and shifting priorities;</p><p>Proven knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with R, SPSS and/or STATA or other statistical analysis software an asset</p><p>Ability to operate in a complex and challenging security environment.</p><p>Past experience in the region is desirable;</p><p>Fluency in English required, Arabic is an asset</p>
