<p>As a senior DevOps engineer, you will own the design, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based production systems. You will lead the architecture, automation, and operation of our Azure/AWS infrastructure, drive security, performance, and cost efficiency across our platforms, and set DevOps standards and best practices for the team. You will act as a technical authority on cloud operations, mentor junior engineers, and partner with engineering leadership to shape the platform roadmap.</p>

<h4>Education, experience & qualifications</h4>

<li>6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or SRE roles, including 3+ years with primary focus on Microsoft Azure (required).</li>
<li>Expert-level Kubernetes administration, including cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, networking, and security hardening.</li>
<li>Production experience operating Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) at scale.</li>
<li>Strong experience designing and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform, including module design and state management.</li>
<li>Deep experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).</li>

Acting as the technical authority and delivery lead for AI within the AI Centre of Excellence, this role defines architectural standards, evaluates and governs AI platforms and solutions, prioritising off-the-shelf and vendor-led approaches, and ensures that all AI initiatives are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with the company's digital transformation strategy. Embed regulatory and compliance requirements, including FDA AI/ML guidance, EMA requirements, GxP, GDPR, and HIPAA, into AI architecture design and review processes.<br>
Define and enforce responsible AI architectural guardrails including model explainability, bias detection, fairness assessments, and human-in-the-loop design patterns.<br>
Maintain AI architecture governance documentation including standards, patterns, approved toolsets, and deviation processes within the enterprise AI knowledge repository.<br>
Coordinate with IT security, data privacy, legal, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure AI solutions meet all applicable oversight requirements.<br>
Support E-AIAB governance processes by providing technical input into initiative assessments, vendor evaluations, and POV planning.</li>

<h4>Requirements</h4>
<p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, data science, or related technical field.<br>
Master's degree in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, or related discipline is preferred.<br>
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or equivalent cloud architecture certification is preferred.<br>
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is preferred.<br>
7–10 years of professional experience in IT, software engineering, data & analytics, or AI/ML implementation.<br>
4–6 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in a production environment.<br>
Proven track record of owning end-to-end AI solution architecture in a complex, cross-functional enterprise environment.<br>

<span>Job Purpose To execute the Group’s IT operations, including the deployment, activation, configuration, and administration of software programs and operating systems, mainframe systems, storage units, main memory, personal computers, backup systems, disaster recovery/alternate sites, and other related operating systems are properly installed, configured, and deployed on the Bank’s main systems, and that users are appropriately configured and granted access in proper and uninterrupted operation of operating systems, main systems, storage units, main memory, personal computers, backup systems, disaster recovery/alternate sites, and other related infrastructure upgrades to operating systems, main systems, storage units, main memory, personal computers, backup systems, disaster recovery/alternate sites, and other related infrastructure, and ensure that appropriate data and information security and protection measures are implemented and perform the necessary modifications and enhancements to improve operational efficiency.<br> All issues and observations shall be technologies used by the Bank, as well as to troubleshoot and resolve any related issues in order to meet business requirements.<br> Responsibilities Ensure that operating systems are properly installed, configured, and deployed on the Bank’s main systems, and that users are appropriately configured and granted access in accordance with their job requirements and applicable instructions.<br> Monitor the performance of the operating systems in use and ensure that they operate optimally and efficiently to meet business requirements.<br> Ensure the proper and uninterrupted operation of operating systems, main systems, storage units, main memory, personal computers, backup systems, disaster recovery/alternate sites, and other related infrastructure, ensuring that all system users can access and utilize the systems without failures, interruptions, or delays.<br> Follow up on updates and upgrades to operating systems, main systems, storage units, main memory, personal computers, backup systems, disaster recovery/alternate sites, and other related infrastructure, and ensure that appropriate data and information security and protection measures are implemented across these systems and users’ devices.<br> Test and validate new and modified systems used by the Bank, ensuring their effectiveness and assessing the extent to which they meet business and user requirements.<br> Provide technical support for operating systems, main systems, storage units, main memory, personal computers, backup systems, disaster recovery/alternate sites, and other related infrastructure, and perform the necessary modifications and enhancements to improve operational efficiency.<br> All issues and observations shall be tracked and managed through the designated issue-management system (Jira).<br> Serve as a primary or alternate member of the Business Continuity Plan and officially designated emergency response teams, carrying out all duties assigned under the plan in order to minimize the impact of crises and restore operations as quickly as possible.<br> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.<br> Possession of one or more certifications in the following areas: Certified IBM AIX / Systems / Security / Backup and Recovery Administrator Certified Storage Administrator / Specialist Certified Red Hat Linux / Systems / Security / Backup and Recovery Administrator Certified Microsoft Office 365 / Security, MCSA / MCSE / MCP A minimum of three (3) years of relevant practical experience in the position’s area of responsibility.<br> Proficiency in English.<br> Proficiency in computer usage and experience working with implemented systems and applications.<br> Ability to work effectively as part of a team.<br> Strong analytical skills.<br> Thorough knowledge of the policies and procedures governing the work, including relevant internal and external updates.<br> Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<br> Ability to work effectively under pressure.<br> Strong planning and organizational skills.<br></span> </div>
