POSITION DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Testing Manger, the incumbent will support all official testing activities conducted by Amideast Jordan, register students for paper and computer-based exams, manage test-takers upon arrival, and assist with customer-service-related duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Duties:

  • Arms/disarms the ADT security system (if applicable) and getting the center ready for the day
  • Operates the computers systems used to check-in examinees and deliver tests
  • Gets the test room ready to deliver exams
  • Checks IDs according to client specifications and requirements
  • Informs the test takers about the center facilities and exam and Prometric procedures and policies in a clear and accurate language
  • Launches exams and conducting proctoring of the test room
  • Conducts the testing room walkthrough as per the UAS system
  • Administers exam breaks and verifying the returning examinee
  • Performs biometric procedures, both during check-in & before and after breaks
  • Performs Wanding procedures as per Prometric security measures
  • Ends the exam; collecting note boards, scratch paper and exhibits; printing score reports
  • Deals with potential cheating situations
  • Monitors the testing material upon usage and inform when not enough supplies.
  • Files Center Problem Reports (CPRs in AP&C centers; Site Reports in IT center)
  • Communicates with Prometric Global Help Desk to escalate technical and immediate issues
  • Delivers special accommodations exams
  • Provides a high level of service and professionalism to candidates and clients
  • Assists in local registration tasks, if needed
  • Answers all customer inquiries by phone
  • Handles the SAT material shredding and destruction on monthly basis.
  • Assists the testing department with any needed tasks
  • Proctors placement test exams
  • Assists the testing department with any needed tasks
  • Performs other testing-related duties as assigned by the Testing Center Manager and/or Country Director

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in similar work setup
  • Ability to organize and maintain large amount of detailed information
  • Proficiency in English is B2 (CEFR Level Alignment) and above
  • Excellent Arabic (written and oral) skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and professional
  • Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
  • Service-oriented: Actively looking for ways to help people
  • A self-starter, positive work attitude and a team player
  • Respects and exercises confidentiality

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (either on a full time, temporary, or hybrid basis).

  • Telephone

Up to 1% business travel may be needed to support our testing labs located outside Amman as needed.
