Today, CARE’s programming in Jordan spans across the humanitarian-development-peacebuilding nexus to support the most vulnerable communities in Jordan, with a strong focus on Gender Equality, Women’s Economic Justice, Climate Justice, and protection/basic needs in Humanitarian contexts. 

Under the strategic guidance and direct supervision by the Assistant Country Director (ACD), the Senior Business Development and Grants Manager will support CARE's resource management initiatives at country level in order to fund country strategic objectives. In doing so, and in alignment with CARE's resource mobilization framework, the role-holder will ensure comprehensive consultation with key stakeholders, staff, and local partners during design, development, and submission of high quality proposals and concept notes. H/she will proactively identify and track donor opportunities and support donor engagement alongside the ACD and Country Director. Additionally, the Senior Business and Development and Grants Manager will contribute significantly to business development knowledge management, learning, compliance documents, capacity statements, grant reporting, and maintenance of online platforms. The position-holder will work alongside Program Development Managers, Project Managers, the Partnership Specialist, MEAL Department, Finance, and the Global Strategic Resource Mobilization Director, among others.
