Job Brief:

Oversee the complete lifecycle of mobile devices within the organization. This role ensures efficient logistics, distribution, inventory management, supplier relationships, and promotional activities. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and retailers to align device offerings with market demands, ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to forecast device demand based on market trends and customer needs
• Work with suppliers to negotiate terms, including pricing, payment schedules, and delivery timelines, and manage purchase orders and procurement contracts.
• Oversee the storage and handling of devices in warehouses to minimize damage or loss, ensuring proper inventory management and optimal stock levels to avoid overstock or shortages.
• Coordinate with distribution teams to ensure timely delivery to retail outlets or direct customers.
• Implement inventory tracking systems, conduct regular stock audits, and prepare detailed reports on stock movements, aging inventory, and stock availability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with device manufacturers and suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact to address issues related to delivery, quality, or other concerns.
• Collaborate with technical teams to conduct testing and quality assurance of new devices, providing feedback to suppliers for improvements based on testing outcomes.
• Monitor the success of promotions, ensuring promotional devices are distributed efficiently and reach the intended target audience, and provide insights for optimization.
• Analyze market trends and customer preferences to recommend new devices or models and track the profitability of device sales and promotions.
• Supervise and mentor team members handling device logistics and inventory, providing training to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
