<p>You’ll be joining the dynamic marketing team at Careem Technologies, a group of passionate, creative, and data-driven individuals focused on scaling our services and enhancing user experiences across the region. This role is embedded in the Amman market team and collaborates closely with central product, commercial, and operations stakeholders.</p>
<h4>About the role</h4>
<p>We are looking for a passionate and driven senior marketing manager to lead the marketing efforts for Careem Technologies in Amman. As the city marketing lead, you will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies to grow our platform across services. While the focus will initially be on food, the role also covers shops, Careem Plus, DineOut, and platform-wide initiatives. This is a people manager role, responsible for leading and developing a local marketing team.</p>
<h4>What you’ll do</h4>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Amman, with a strong initial focus on food, while supporting other services.</li>
<li>Design innovative, multi-channel campaigns (in-app, digital, offline) to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strategic partnerships for co-marketing opportunities that amplify Careem’s brand presence.</li>
<li>Leverage data to understand market trends, campaign performance, and user behavior, and refine marketing strategies accordingly.</li>
<li>Champion Careem’s brand in Amman, ensuring resonance with local audiences and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with product, commercial, and operations teams to align marketing goals with broader company objectives.</li>
<li>Monitor and adapt to evolving market trends and competitive dynamics within Amman.</li>
<li>Manage the local marketing budget effectively to drive high ROI.</li>
<li>Lead, mentor, and grow the city marketing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and performance.</li>

<h4>What you’ll need</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.</li>
<li>7+ years of experience in marketing, ideally with exposure to brand management, product marketing, and digital channels.</li>
<li>Strong track record of designing and executing high-impact marketing strategies.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive marketing decisions.</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with stakeholder management expertise.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of Amman’s consumer behavior, preferences, and market environment.</li>
<li>High energy, a growth mindset, and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.</li>
