Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers. In this role, you will coordinate shipments, track inventory, and work closely with warehouse staff, carriers, and sales teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of automotive parts and vehicles
• Manage relationships with freight carriers, negotiate rates, and resolve delivery issues
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to prevent stockouts or overstock
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and delivery confirmations
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate delays or changes to customers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records in the warehouse/logistics management system
• Reconcile shipping discrepancies and process returns or damaged goods claims

Qualifications

• Prior logistics, supply chain, or coordination experience (automotive or wholesale industry preferred)
• Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in logistics, supply chain, IT, or business a plus
• Must have advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formula-based reporting. Candidates without demonstrated Excel proficiency will not be considered.
