Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager with a mechanical engineering background and expertise in Oil Terminal Projects to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee the successful execution and delivery of mechanical engineering projects, with a focus on oil terminal facilities. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the end-to-end project delivery process for mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, and establish project execution plans.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance on mechanical engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices to support project planning, design, and implementation.
• Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, and ensuring efficient utilization to meet project requirements and optimize project outcomes.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing mitigation measures and corrective actions to minimize project disruptions and delays.
• Facilitating effective communication and coordination among project team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to foster collaboration and resolve project-related challenges.
• Conducting regular project status meetings, progress reviews, and performance evaluations to track project milestones, identify deviations from project plans, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on mechanical engineering projects, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry, particularly in Oil Terminal Projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects from initiation to completion, meeting project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and standards relevant to oil terminal facilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software applications, including MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently and prioritizing competing demands.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-driven approach to overcoming project challenges and driving project success.
