What You Will Be Doing at Arrow Electronics

As a Pre-Sales Technical Specialist – Storage Solutions, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales efforts and strengthening our value proposition to clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing and configuring advanced storage solutions, with a focus on performance, scalability, and customer requirements.
Collaborating closely with the DELL EMC local team to align on strategy and ensure optimal solution delivery.
Providing pre-sales technical support to internal sales teams and external clients, including validating complex hardware and software configurations.
Supporting the sales cycle by offering expert advice, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring client needs are met.
Assisting resellers with configuration requests and recommending product enhancements to improve functionality.
Maintaining up-to-date vendor certifications to ensure compliance and credibility.
Enhancing team effectiveness by sharing technical knowledge and contributing to the development of high-value solutions.
Participating in a sales compensation plan, with part of your On-Target Earnings (OTE) tied to performance and specific sales-related goals set by Arrow.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a tech-savvy, collaborative, and solution-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will:

Bring specialized technical skills in storage solutions, ideally with experience in DELL EMC products.
Be experienced in pre-sales roles, with the ability to work under moderate supervision and handle complex configurations.
Possess strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and craft effective solutions.
Act as an informal mentor or support for colleagues with less experience.
Be adaptable, proactive, and motivated to contribute to a growing and dynamic team.
Typically requires an associate’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent related experience for high school graduates.
May require specific vendor certifications (e.g., DELL EMC).
