Job Description:
You as a Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy High Voltage business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities
• Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions.
• Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.
• Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.
• Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice processing.
• Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolves performance issues.
• Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
• Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.
• Conducting all Procurement and Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensuring Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in Pro-Supply procedure.

Your background
• A bachelor s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing supply chain activities in power/energy/manufacturing industry.
• Hands on experience in SAP/MM module.
• Experience in MS office suite.
• Proven knowledge in P2P process and system.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required.<br/><br/>Company Industry
