<li>Own the environmental strategy for very large volumes (e.g., hangar bays): heating/cooling concepts, destratification, purge/exhaust modes, make-up air, and controls sequences—balancing energy, IAQ and safety (UFC/ASHRAE/NFPA context).</li>
<li>Engineer specialist ventilation for hazardous operations: paint spray booths/rooms, fuel-cell maintenance/purge ventilation, welding/fume extraction, VOC control, and hazardous-area interfaces with electrical/controls.</li>
<li>Integrate process utilities common to MRO and workshops.</li>
<li>Shape catering facility HVAC and hygienic air zones: kitchen exhaust and makeup air (NFPA 96), pressure cascades, temperature/humidity control for clean prep/packing.</li>
<li>Deliver BIM-led coordination (Revit/Navisworks) across architecture, structures, process, fire protection, and controls; lead clash resolution and model QA.</li>
<li>Run calculations and simulations: loads, duct/pipe sizing, ventilation rates, smoke/fume capture, and (where needed) CFD to support the thermal comfort studies.</li>
<li>Author technical documents: BoD, design reports, specifications, sequences of operation, control narratives, FAT/SAT/commissioning plans.</li>
<li>Engage stakeholders—airlines/MROs, airport operators, food safety teams, and authorities—to secure approvals and smooth delivery.</li>
<li>Lead retrofit, refurbishment, and brownfield upgrade projects within operational airport environments—assessing existing systems, developing phased upgrade strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations, and integrating new systems with legacy infrastructure while addressing capacity, compliance, and energy performance improvements.</li>

<h4>Key systems and domains you’ll cover:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Hangars and workshops: general and emergency exhaust, purge ventilation for fuel system work, floor-level capture where required, destratification/ HVLS fans, door air management, radiant/air systems, PCA (pre-conditioned air) and GSE interfaces.</li>
<li>Catering facilities: high-duty kitchen exhaust and makeup air (hoods, MAUs, heat recovery), grease ducting, rooftop terminations, pressure zoning for hygiene, and interfaces to cold rooms/freezers and clean areas.</li>
<li>Experience in refurbishment projects, passenger terminal building mechanical design (HVAC, drainage systems) is preferred.</li>

<h4>Qualifications:</h4>

<li>15+ years’ experience in building services (mechanical/HVAC), with significant aviation project delivery (passenger terminal building, hangars, MRO shops, flight catering, or similar).</li>
<li>Proven leadership as lead/principal engineer on multi-disciplinary design projects and prior delivery in live airport environments (airside/landside interfaces, works phasing) is preferred.</li>
<li>Expertise writing BoDs, specifications, P&IDs, control sequences, etc.</li>
<li>BIM fluency: Revit, Navisworks; competence with calculations (e.g., IES-VE/HAP/eQuest), CFD exposure preferred.</li>
<li>Client-facing communication and team leadership; mentoring and QA/QC across multiple concurrent packages.</li>

<h4>The role</h4>
<p>To supervise and control the operation of the building management system and monitor all plant activities of the headquarters building services.<br>
To provide accurate administration support to the engineering team.<br>
To interact with housekeeping and front office team to ensure our guests receive a high level of service.<br>
To provide service that is sincere, warm and enthusiastic whilst ensuring guest satisfaction.</p>

<h4>Planning & organizing:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities.</li>
<li>To be punctual on duty and ensure the same of your employees.</li>
<li>Assist the director of engineering and management in planning for the investment, project and replacement budget on a yearly basis.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Operations:</h4>

<li>Recommends improvements in methods, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and maximize customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Be willing to train and instruct other members of the staff by passing along knowledge and skills.</li>

<li>Ensure all relevant checklists are completed as required.</li>

<li>Schedules active maintenance with engineering team to ensure work is complete, and then communicates details with the engineering supervisor.</li>
<li>Ensure all work orders are acknowledged in the Dyna Win system.</li>

<h4>Administration:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Provide and follow up on the engineering supervisor on planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for implementation.</li>
<li>Analyze the behaviour of the plants with respect to the set point and set up the various control parameters.</li>
<li>Perform daily auditing of plant performance via the building management system (BMS) e.g. data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.</li>
<li>Analyze reasons of failure of plants and provide specific diagnostic, problem analysis and specify the necessary remedial actions for the engineering supervisor's approval.</li>
<li>Use the historical logged data of various plants to review the system and propose improvements in order to enhance system efficiency and/or reduce operation cost as well as improve the services provided to guests.</li>
<li>Program the BMS and PPM system and other plants (e.g. standby power generator, diesel driven firefighting pump, fire alarm system, etc.) for automatic periodic testing.</li>
<li>Follow the grooming standards and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition at all times.</li>
<li>To comply with all hotel rules and regulations as outlined in the staff handbook.</li>
<li>To anticipate the needs of the guest whenever possible, to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction.</li>
<li>Ensure all filing systems are accurate and up to date.</li>
<li>Provide administration support to the engineering team.</li>
<li>Assist with the completion of the department vacation plan and any associated HR paperwork.</li>
<li>To give full co-operation to any colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner. To be flexible in assisting in other areas of the hotel in response to business and guest needs.</li>

<p><strong>Lead electrical design</strong> from feasibility and basis of design (BoD) through detailed design, tender, and construction support for aviation facilities.</p>
<p><strong>Own the electrical power strategy</strong> for large-scale facilities (e.g., hangar bays): MV/LV distribution, redundancy, load management, earthing, and control philosophies—balancing reliability, safety, and energy performance (IEC/NFPA context).</p>
<p><strong>Engineer electrical systems</strong> for hazardous operations: paint booths/rooms, fuel-cell maintenance areas, welding zones—ensuring compliance with ATEX/IECEx and coordination with mechanical ventilation and controls.</p>
<p><strong>Design and specify power systems</strong> for aviation facilities: transformers, generators, UPS, distribution boards, and backup systems for mission-critical operations.</p>
<p><strong>Integrate electrical utilities</strong> across MRO and workshop environments—ground power units (GPU), PCA interfaces, process equipment loads, and coordination with mechanical, fire/life safety, and control systems.</p>
<p><strong>Shape electrical systems</strong> for catering facilities: resilient power distribution for kitchens, cold-chain systems, and hygienic areas aligned with HACCP/ISO 22000 requirements.</p>
<p><strong>Deliver BIM-led coordination</strong> (Revit/Navisworks) across architecture, structures, MEP, and specialist systems; lead clash resolution and model QA.</p>
<p><strong>Perform calculations and studies:</strong> load estimation, cable sizing, protection coordination, short-circuit analysis, and lighting design.</p>
<p><strong>Author technical documents:</strong> BoD, load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), specifications, and commissioning plans.</p>
<p><strong>Mentor and review engineers/designers;</strong> lead design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability/operability workshops.</p>
<p><strong>Engage stakeholders</strong>—airlines, MROs, airport operators, and authorities—to secure approvals and ensure smooth delivery.</p>
<p><strong>Lead retrofit, refurbishment, and brownfield upgrades</strong> in operational airport environments—assessing existing systems, planning phased upgrades, and integrating new systems with minimal disruption while improving capacity, compliance, and energy performance.</p>
<h4>Key systems & domains you’ll cover:</h4>

<li>ELV & controls: fire alarm systems (NFPA 72), ICT, security (CCTV/access control), structured cabling, and BMS/SCADA integration for operational monitoring and control.</li>

<h4>Qualifications:</h4>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; master’s degree preferred.</li>
<li>Professionally registered (CEng, PE, or equivalent).</li>
<li>15+ years' experience in electrical building services design, including aviation and complex infrastructure projects.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and delivering major projects.</li>

<h4>Technical expertise:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of international electrical design codes, standards, and aviation requirements.</li>
<li>Expertise in MV/LV power distribution, load assessments, protection systems, and earthing design.</li>

<li>Produce all technical documentation: calculations, system studies, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, specifications, block schematics, and compliance tables.</li>
<li>Lead conceptual and detailed design reviews, leveraging advanced analytical tools, BIM/Revit models, and coordination with architectural, mechanical, and building technology disciplines.</li>
<li>Mentor and develop junior engineers, share best practices in mission-critical electrical systems, and drive continuous improvement across the design team.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to grow consulting capabilities and ensure alignment with global design standards.</li>
<li>Develop and standardize scalable, repeatable data center solutions to drive consistency and efficiencies across UAE and KSA.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.</li>
<li>10+ years of progressive electrical experience in planning, designing, and delivering large-scale data centers, including multiple Uptime Tier III/IV projects.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to coordinate with stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.</li>
<li>Professional certifications such as Uptime Tier Certified Professional, PMP, LEED AP, or BICSI RCDD are highly desirable.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of data centres electrical infrastructure, power distribution topologies, servers, storage, network systems, SCADA systems, power management, ELV, and security.</li>
<li>Experienced in data center construction phasing and associated design planning.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills for effective client presentations, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional coordination.</li>
<li>Familiarity with local and international codes and standards, including NEC, IEC, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, PDPL, and ESMA.</li>
