<p><b>Responsibilities<br></b><br>Lead and oversee the Bank s Compliance function, ensuring adherence to applicable local and international laws, regulations, regulatory instructions, and internal policies.<br>Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, frameworks, and controls in line with regulatory requirements and international best practices.<br>Oversee the Bank s AML/CFT program, including financial crime risk assessment, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity investigations, escalation, and regulatory reporting.<br>Supervise KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes, with particular focus on high-risk customers, transactions, products, services, and geographic locations.<br>Lead and oversee the sanctions compliance program, including screening and monitoring of customers, transactions, counterparties, and other relevant parties against applicable local and international sanctions lists.<br>Monitor compliance with AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions, and other regulatory requirements across the Bank s branches, subsidiaries, and agents, where applicable.<br>Conduct compliance monitoring and testing, identify breaches and control gaps, and ensure timely corrective and remedial actions.<br>Maintain effective relationships with regulatory and supervisory authorities, internal audit, and external auditors, and coordinate regulatory examinations, inspections, and audit requirements.<br>Prepare and submit required compliance, AML/CFT, sanctions, and regulatory reports to senior management and relevant authorities.<br>Provide regular reporting to senior management and relevant committees on compliance risks, regulatory developments, breaches, investigations, and remediation activities.<br>Monitor emerging compliance and financial crime risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures and improvements to systems, controls, and processes.<br>Advise business units on compliance requirements related to customers, transactions, products, services, and other higher-risk activities.<br>Lead, supervise, and develop the Compliance team, ensuring effective performance management, training, resource allocation, and succession planning.<br>Ensure business continuity for critical compliance and AML/CFT activities and maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><b>Qualifications<br></b><br>Bachelor s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.<br>8 12 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, including significant experience in Compliance, AML/CFT, KYC, Sanctions, or Financial Crime.<br>Proven experience in a senior compliance or department-head position, including team leadership and supervision.<br>Professional certification in AML, Compliance, Financial Crime, Risk Management, or Sanctions is preferred.<br>Strong practical knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, KYC/CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity investigations, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting.<br>Strong understanding of banking products, services, operations, systems, and applicable regulatory requirements.<br>Proven experience dealing with regulatory and supervisory authorities and internal/external auditors.<br>Strong analytical, investigation, risk assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.<br>Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and crisis-management capabilities.<br>High level of integrity, confidentiality, transparency, neutrality, and professional ethics.<br>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant compliance/banking systems.<br>Fluency in Arabic and English.</p>

<p>BACKGROUND ON IMPACT AND REACH IMPACT Initiatives is a humanitarian NGO, based in Geneva, Switzerland. The organisation manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative. The IMPACT team comprises specialists in data collection, management and analysis, GIS and remote sensing. IMPACT was launched at the initiative of ACTED, an international NGO with headquarters based in Paris and presence in thirty countries. The two organizations have a strong complementarity formalized in a global partnership, which allows IMPACT to benefit from ACTED s operational support in its fields of intervention. We are currently looking for an Information Management Officer (IMO) to support our team in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt): Position: Senior Information Management Officer (IMO) Site Management Cluster Contract duration : 9 months Starting Date : 24 August 2026 Location : Amman, Jordan COUNTRY PROFILE The humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) has reached dire levels, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where ongoing hostilities have resulted in mass displacement, the collapse of basic services, and a near-total breakdown of civilian infrastructure. With 2.1 million people affected, access to food, water, healthcare, and shelter remains critically limited. The scale of destruction and access constraints have created an environment where humanitarian needs far exceed available resources. At the same time, rising tensions and violence in the West Bank have severely impacted freedom of movement, livelihoods, and overall humanitarian conditions. In response, IMPACT Initiatives is implementing a range of activities to support a needs-based, evidence-driven humanitarian response. This includes multi-sectoral household assessments, displacement site mapping, and market assessments across Gaza to inform coordination, operational planning, and strategic decision-making. POSITION PROFILE Under the supervision of IMPACT s Research Manager, the Senior Information Management Officer (SIMO) will lead on the aggregation of service and infrastructure mapping from response partners across the Gaza Strip. In coordination with Acted, UNDP and UN Habitat, the SIMO will be responsible for identifying valuable service and infrastructure data from local, national and international actors as well as UN Agencies in order to provide a comprehensive overview of ongoing humanitarian programming across the Strip. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the response s effectiveness by supporting evidence-based planning and coordination. The IMO is expected to engage independently with partners and be confident articulating objectives to a range of audiences. The position requires strong technical skills in data management and analysis, excellent coordination and communication abilities, and a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset. An interest in humanitarian coordination and contextual developments in oPt is strongly preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Information Management Officer s responsibilities include: Co-ordination and planning • Engage clusters, INGOs, NNGOs and CSOs to generate support and buy in for the service and infrastructure mapping • Generate an understanding of the information landscape within oPt actors, identifying which organisation or cluster has data on which services and infrastructure • Engage other coordinating bodies such as OCHA and act as IMPACT focal point across early recovering information management discussions • Promote the use of inter-operable technologies among partners; • Provide information outputs in the local language wherever feasible. • Receive data from partner organisations Data quality control • Generate sectoral specific data quality standards, working with information management officers in partner organisations to understand sector specific data quality requirements and document them • Generate data quality scripts to assess incoming data for quality issues • Generate shared data standards, including naming, data formatting and data taxonomies (for the standard naming of e.g. health care facility types across organizations) • Generate data quality key performance indicators • Work with partner organisations to address issues with the data they have provided • Promote data quality standards across partner organisations and build a culture of data integrity and accuracy within the response. Data visualization • Visualise the GIS and structured data shared by partners in a dashboard (using common data visualsation tools, e.g. R Shiny or PowerBI) • Ensure coherent style and design across the dashboard • Facilitate analysis through the dashboard user interface • Collaborate with UN Habitat, Acted and UNDP to ensure data visualisations align to their needs The Information Management Officer will maintain the strictest confidentiality on all data collected and related processes. They will actively take measures to prevent the unauthorized sharing of any information and data belonging to IMPACT and its partners, or collected during his/her assignment with IMPACT.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent academic qualifications, including a Master's degree in relevant discipline (e.g. maths and statistics, information science, geography), or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience in humanitarian related activities in disaster or conflict situation;</li><li>4 years of relevant working experience in a humanitarian setting, such as information management, GIS, monitoring and evaluation, research design and analysis, etc.;</li><li>Sound judgment and emotional intelligence in high-pressure or sensitive situations. <p>Location Amman - JDC</p><p>During your tenure as Onboarding and Offboarding Services specialist, you will conduct onboarding and employee exit activities for the employees within the assigned region.
