Your Team: 


You’ll join the Little Thinking Minds Finance team, the group that keeps our organization running smoothly and sustainably as we grow. The team partners closely with leaders across the company on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and day-to-day financial operations to ensure thoughtful, data-informed decisions that support our mission to improve Arabic learning for students.


Responsibilities: 


  • Oversee customer invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers across multiple regions
  • Ensuring timely collection of payments 
  • Apply customer payments in accounting ERP using csv uploads
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure correct customer balances 
  • Investigate and get resolution with customers on duplicate payments
  • Process customer refunds and record them in accounting system 
  • Write off delinquent accounts to bad debt once deemed uncollectible
  • Process adjustments to customer accounts in Salesforce and NetSuite as needed including but not limited to entering reversals, credit memos, revenue adjustment journals, opportunities reopening etc. 
  • Negotiate with clients in non-payment cases
  • Work cross functionally with sales and support teams to follow company collections practices
  • Monitor and reassign Zendesk Accounts Receivable tickets as needed
  • Issue customer campaigns for updates to the payment instructions as needed
  • Resolve value added tax issues with the customers and ensure collection of the valid tax IDs
  • Provide documentation support during financial and VAT tax audits 
  • Bank Reconciliations assistance on the weekly basis for the operating accounts
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Adhoc assignments
  • Standard working hours are 12:00 PM–8:00 PM local time to support collaboration with our global teams

Qualifications: 


  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience 
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communications skills in Arabic and English
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Netsuite or Salesforce experience is a plus
