A growing detergent manufacturing company based in Jordan is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Export Manager to lead and expand its international sales operations. The company aims to strengthen its presence in regional and global markets and is looking for a results-driven professional capable of opening new markets and building strong international partnerships.
Position Summary
The Export Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s export strategy, expanding distribution networks, and driving international sales growth. The ideal candidate has strong experience in international sales, proven ability to develop new markets, and established relationships with distributors or importers in target regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s export and international market expansion strategy.
- Identify and develop new export markets for the company’s detergent products.
- Conduct market research and competitive market analysis to understand demand, pricing, and competitor strategies in target markets.
- Study market trends and evaluate opportunities for growth in international markets.
- Build and manage a strong network of distributors, agents, and international partners.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and manage long-term client relationships.
- Prepare export offers, pricing strategies, and international sales contracts.
- Coordinate export logistics including shipping, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Monitor international payments, letters of credit, and financial transactions.
- Monitor competitors and analyze their products, pricing, and market positioning.
- Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings.
- Achieve export sales targets and contribute to the company’s global growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in export management or international sales.
- Experience in the detergent industry or FMCG sector is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
Preferred Experience
- Existing business relationships with distributors or importers in Iraq, GCC countries, and African markets.
- Proven track record of opening new export markets and achieving sales growth.
