MAG invites qualified consultancy firms or individual consultants to submit proposals for the provision of an Evaluation of Conflict Sensitivity in MAG’s Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) Programmes in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), as set out in the attached Terms of Reference and Tender Criteria Document.<br>
MAG has been delivering EORE activities in Gaza, designed to be context-appropriate and conflict-sensitive, including community-level acceptance work, integration of MHPSS, and adapted programming under highly constrained access conditions. MAG has also initiated EORE sessions in Nablus, West Bank. This assignment will evaluate the conflict sensitivity of this programming and generate practical tools and learning for MAG and the wider Mine Action sector in oPt.<br>
Key parameters of this assignment:<br>
– Duration: MAG intends to award a fixed-term consultancy contract for an initial period of three months, commencing upon signature by both parties. At MAG's sole discretion, the contract may be extended to include the preparation and facilitation of a dissemination workshop in Amman. (3 phases: Inception; Data Collection & Tool Development; Analysis & Reporting).<br>

<p><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong></p>
<p>The Proposal Writing & Business Development Manager leads Amideast Jordan’s efforts to expand its donor and client portfolio by identifying funding opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and advancing new business in alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities. The role works closely with the Country Director, headquarters, technical teams in the Jordan office as well as regionally, and external partners to strengthen Amideast’s market positioning and pursue new opportunities.</p>
<p>The incumbent manages the business development process from opportunity identification through proposal submission by researching donor priorities and client needs, pursuing and meeting with new potential clients, assessing Amideast’s service portfolio, and working with technical and operational teams to design responsive, feasible solutions. The role prepares competitive technical and cost proposals, ensures compliance with Amideast’s internal processes, secures required approvals, meets submission deadlines, and maintains relationships with current and prospective donors and clients to support sustainable organizational growth.</p>

<p>EPP III, Generator (3 - 150KW) and HVAC Technician Jordan Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on all types of military and commercial generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army to include the 150kW EPP III generators.</p><p>MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT</p><p>As a Generator and HVAC Mechanic, the work you ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Worldwide Field Support contract for the U.S. Army. You ll play a crucial role in providing on-site technical and maintenance assistance, analyzing complex technical problems, and providing training to site operations and maintenance personnel.</p><p>Perform maintenance and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW, 500 0hz generators involving installation and removal of generators from fixed and mobile locations, troubleshoots and repair alternating current (AC) systems, direct current (DC) systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls, electrical wiring and accessories. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Chillers, and Environmental Control Units some are standalone units and others are mounted on trailers and vehicles. Maintain all types of commercial power generation equipment; military spec generators and Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS). Operate a Load bank during testing Fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals. Some work will be in a generator shop environment, and some work will be in a field environment. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of tactical and commercial satellite communication equipment.</li><li>Proficient in operating Satellite Modems, Redundancy Switches, associated cables, and interconnects; Up Converters, Down Converters, High Power Amplifiers (HPAs), Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), Low Noise Block (LNB); Waveguide (rigid, flex, and elliptical) joints and connections; Intermediate Frequency (IF) cables and connections; Antennas, Antenna motors, Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPA), Antenna Control Units (ACU), and related cabling and interconnects; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units; Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS); and Generators (if applicable).</li><li>Skilled in technical documentation for SAR, GAR, TSR, and ASI requests.</li><li>Experienced in using Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) such as power meters, spectrum analyzers, Firebird testers, volt meters, and similar tools.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Active, in-scope Secret clearance.</li><li>U.S. citizenship.</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of satellite communications electronic systems or equipment.</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating in a tactical satellite environment, including operation and maintenance of antenna controllers, SSPA, LNA/LNB, up/down converters, fiber optic, coax, Ethernet cables, FDMA and TDMA modems, and Modem Hub operations.</li><li>Experience and proficiency with commercial and military satellite TDMA/FDMA modems required.</li><li>Candidates must meet applicable DCWF DoD 8140 requirements for the assigned work role (411-Technical Support Specialist, Basic) through approved certifications, or education, or military training, or a combination thereof. Qualifying 8140 certifications may include A+, CND, Network+, Security+, or other DoD 8140-approved higher-level certifications aligned to the assigned work role.</li><li>Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.</li><li>Must possess a valid U.S. passport.</li></ul>
