This position is focused on infrastructure whereby the team is responsible for debt and equity investments in the public and private sector in the transport and municipal infrastructure including water, public transport, and waste subsectors. Anera delivers programs in education, health, economic development and emergency relief, working closely with local partners and communities.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Project Background</b></p><p>The Anera Summer Educational Program supports children from Gaza who have been evacuated to Jordan to receive medical treatment and are currently residing in temporary accommodation. These children have experienced prolonged disruption to their formal education, with schooling interrupted for over two years as a result of the war.</p><p>To respond to this learning loss, Anera is delivering a phased educational support program informed by a focus group assessment conducted with the children across three age groups. The assessment identified significant needs in foundational literacy, alongside numeracy, English and science enrichment.
