The NA II assists and supervises subordinate NA s and NOC subordinate sites, oversees network security checks, troubleshooting network problems, outages, and anomalies as required. Plan network development and expansion as needed. Knowledge of sub-netting, switching and Cisco IOS and training new NA I personnel. Enforces network security procedures, to include DISA STIG compliance and best security practice. (NOC) Provide advanced technical expertise to internal subordinate work sites, and site level NAs (NOC) Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups as required. (NOC) Strong understanding of firewall, VoIP and ACL configurations. (NOC) Use SolarWinds, Spectrum, GemOne, Chimera, and other software application tools to manage and administer the network. <h4>Responsibilities:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Lead mechanical/HVAC design from feasibility and basis-of-design (BoD) through detailed design, tender and construction support for aviation facilities.</li>
<li>Own the environmental strategy for very large volumes (e.g., hangar bays): heating/cooling concepts, destratification, purge/exhaust modes, make-up air, and controls sequences—balancing energy, IAQ and safety (UFC/ASHRAE/NFPA context).</li>
<li>Engineer specialist ventilation for hazardous operations: paint spray booths/rooms, fuel-cell maintenance/purge ventilation, welding/fume extraction, VOC control, and hazardous-area interfaces with electrical/controls.</li>
<li>Integrate process utilities common to MRO and workshops.</li>
<li>Shape catering facility HVAC and hygienic air zones: kitchen exhaust and makeup air (NFPA 96), pressure cascades, temperature/humidity control for clean prep/packing.</li>
<li>Deliver BIM-led coordination (Revit/Navisworks) across architecture, structures, process, fire protection, and controls; lead clash resolution and model QA.</li>
<li>Run calculations and simulations: loads, duct/pipe sizing, ventilation rates, smoke/fume capture, and (where needed) CFD to support the thermal comfort studies.</li>
<li>Author technical documents: BoD, design reports, specifications, sequences of operation, control narratives, FAT/SAT/commissioning plans.</li>
<li>Engage stakeholders—airlines/MROs, airport operators, food safety teams, and authorities—to secure approvals and smooth delivery.</li>
<li>Lead retrofit, refurbishment, and brownfield upgrade projects within operational airport environments—assessing existing systems, developing phased upgrade strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations, and integrating new systems with legacy infrastructure while addressing capacity, compliance, and energy performance improvements.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Key systems and domains you’ll cover:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Hangars and workshops: general and emergency exhaust, purge ventilation for fuel system work, floor-level capture where required, destratification/ HVLS fans, door air management, radiant/air systems, PCA (pre-conditioned air) and GSE interfaces.</li>
<li>Catering facilities: high-duty kitchen exhaust and makeup air (hoods, MAUs, heat recovery), grease ducting, rooftop terminations, pressure zoning for hygiene, and interfaces to cold rooms/freezers and clean areas.</li>
<li>Experience in refurbishment projects, passenger terminal building mechanical design (HVAC, drainage systems) is preferred.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Qualifications:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.</li>
<li>Professional registration (e.g., CEng/PE) strongly preferred.</li>
<li>15+ years’ experience in building services (mechanical/HVAC), with significant aviation project delivery (passenger terminal building, hangars, MRO shops, flight catering, or similar).</li>
<li>Proven leadership as lead/principal engineer on multi-disciplinary design projects and prior delivery in live airport environments (airside/landside interfaces, works phasing) is preferred.</li>
<li>Expertise writing BoDs, specifications, P&IDs, control sequences, etc.</li>
<li>BIM fluency: Revit, Navisworks; competence with calculations (e.g., IES-VE/HAP/eQuest), CFD exposure preferred.</li>
<li>Client-facing communication and team leadership; mentoring and QA/QC across multiple concurrent packages.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills for effective client presentations, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional coordination.</li>
<li>Willingness to be based at Dammam Airport for the initial phase of the project (short-term assignment) and relocate to the main office upon project completion.</li>

As part of the SDG Local Action project, UNDP is one of the implementing partners of the Mayors Challenge, a global initiative to reimagine the most essential services that cities deliver to residents.</p><br> <p>Within this context, the SDG Local Action project is seeking to recruit a<strong> Project Coordinator </strong>to support the implementation of the Mayors Challenge in the city of As-Salt (Jordan), one of the winners of the 2025 Mayors Challenge. The As Salt project aims to establish a training centre for the restoration of heritage buildings, training local residents on restoration skills to preserve their heritage, revive their buildings and repurpose them. </p><br> <p>As-Salt is home of thousands of heritage buildings, with a magnificent architectural character that tells the city’s rich history and connects its owners with their ancestors. Today, these buildings, once vibrant and full of life, have fallen into disrepair due to neglect, lack of awareness about their importance and a shortage of restoration specialist and high maintenance costs. About 70% of them are dilapidated and abandoned, posing a threat to residents and visitors. The project will transform the urban heritage of As Salt into a sustainable economic, social and cultural engine. By establishing the Heritage Building Restoration Training at the Beit Falah Al Hamad Heritage site, the city will be leading an integrated model that will create skills to create local and regional job opportunities. The project will also work with the owners of heritage buildings, providing legal support, financial incentives and technical support, connecting them with the new graduates. The project will also work to project a new image for the city to attract tourism, culture and investment in partnership with city society and the private sector, including banks and microfinance institutions.</p><br> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><br> <p>The <strong>Project Coordinator </strong>will perform the following functions:</p><br> <p><strong>A. <p dir="auto">The Children’s Museum Jordan is seeking a creative and technically skilled Architect to contribute to the design and development of interactive exhibits and educational environments. The role involves transforming educational concepts into engaging, safe, and child-friendly experiences through architectural design, technical drawings, 3D modelling, prototyping, and follow-up on fabrication and installation.</p>
<p dir="auto">The Architect will also support the enhancement of existing exhibits and coordinate with relevant departments, contractors, suppliers, and fabricators to ensure that projects meet the Museum’s educational, technical, operational, quality, and safety requirements.</p>
<h2 dir="auto">Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the design and development of innovative interactive exhibits that transform educational concepts into engaging, hands-on learning experiences for children.</li>
<li>Prepare design concepts, sketches, mood boards, visual presentations, layouts, and design proposals for exhibits and related projects.</li>
<li>Develop 2D and 3D designs, architectural drawings, technical drawings, construction details, and other documentation required for fabrication and installation.</li>
<li>Develop prototypes, mock-ups, and proof-of-concept models, and participate in testing their functionality, safety, usability, and technical feasibility.</li>
<li>Select suitable materials, finishes, colours, and interactive elements to ensure quality, durability, safety, accessibility, and ease of maintenance.</li>
<li>Prepare technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), scopes of work, and supporting documentation required for procurement, fabrication, and implementation.</li>
<li>Review shop drawings, material samples, and fabrication details submitted by contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.</li>
<li>Follow up on the fabrication and installation of exhibits and conduct the required site visits and technical inspections to ensure quality of implementation.</li>
<li>Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, fabricators, consultants, and service providers to ensure that work is completed according to approved technical requirements and timelines.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Education and Programs, Facilities and Maintenance, Visitor Experience, Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, and other relevant departments to integrate educational, operational, visual, and technical requirements into exhibit designs.</li>

<li>Practical experience in developing designs from the initial concept stage through technical documentation, fabrication, installation, and project completion.</li>
<li>Experience in preparing technical drawings, construction details, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities.</li>
<li>Experience in coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and fabricators and following up on site implementation.</li>
<li>Proficiency in <strong>SketchUp and AutoCAD</strong>.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, is an advantage.</li>
<li>Excellent command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.</li>
