The organisation manages several initiatives, including the REACH Initiative. The IMPACT team comprises specialists in data collection, management and analysis, GIS and remote sensing. IMPACT was launched at the initiative of ACTED, an international NGO with headquarters based in Paris and presence in thirty countries. The two organizations have a strong complementarity formalized in a global partnership, which allows IMPACT to benefit from ACTED s operational support in its fields of intervention. We are currently looking for a Senior Assessment Officer to support our team in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) Position: Senior Assessment Officer Shelter & Site Management Contract duration: 3 months and half with possibility of extension (Pending funding confirmation). Starting Date : ASAP Location : Amman, Jordan COUNTRY PROFILE The humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories (oPt) has reached dire levels, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where ongoing hostilities have resulted in mass displacement, the collapse of basic services, and a near-total breakdown of civilian infrastructure. With 2.1 million people affected, access to food, water, healthcare, and shelter remains critically limited. The scale of destruction and access constraints have created an environment where humanitarian needs far exceed available resources. Together, these dynamics have driven acute and widespread humanitarian needs. Against this backdrop, IMPACT Initiatives is planning a range of research activities to support an evidence- and needs-based humanitarian response. In 2026, IMPACT will conduct a number of cash and market assessments in order to better inform the response as it responds to the post ceasefire context. POSITION PROFILE Under the line management of the Research Manager, the Senior Assessment Officer is jointly responsible for the implementation of REACH s Shelter and Site Management assessments, including the preparation, data collection, analysis, drafting, dissemination, and evaluation stages. The primary assessment sitting under the SAO will be the Comprehensive Shelter Needs Assessment and associated Joint Analysis Workshop. Additionally, targeted assessments are expected to be developed and implemented throughout the contracted period. Extensive external coordination is expected, both in facilitating the assessment and positioning IMPACT within the newly forming Shelter, Land and Sites cluster. This position requires strong research skills, an analytical mind, creativity, independence, and an interest in the context. Candidates should have strong writing and presentation skills and be able to clearly think through and articulate implications of research findings. RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Assessment Officer s responsibilities include: PROJECT/RESEARCH CYCLE MANAGEMENT • Ensuring the assessment, analysis, and support material development are planned and implemented in a structured and coherent manner, in line with relevant project and strategic objectives, and with global IMPACT guidelines. • Managing the relevant assessment cycle stages, including oversight of research design, data collection, or analysis. • Collaborating with other members of the IMPACT Shelter and Sites team and ensuring alignment and efficiency between team activities and outputs. CONTEXTUAL UNDERSTANDING • Guiding secondary data review and efforts to better understand the information landscape, and how the assessment contributes to strategic response objectives. • Keeping up to date with the shifting oPt context, especially around the Shelter, Land and Sites cluster merge. RESEARCH AND TECHNICAL SKILLS • Develop and implement specific Sites and Shelter based assessments. The candidate should have a technical interest in research development on areas relating to shelter vulnerability, displaced person vulnerabilities, site management (including site profiling, site community engagement, site care and maintenance) • Comprehensive secondary data review for triangulating relevant assessment data • Development of additional support materials to ensure operational efficiencies and output effectiveness, including necessary guidance notes, KII facilitation guides and training materials. • Analysis of the collected data and drafting of the relevant outputs (i.e., shelter vulnerability reporting). • Experience working with qualitative assessments would be an advantage • Experience in attending and/or facilitating joint analysis workshops (e.g. IPC) would be an advantage STAFF MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING • Based on the developed training materials, supporting the training of the trainers and data collection staff on assessment objectives and tools, including in collaboration with project implementation partners. • Promoting capacity building across the IMPACT oPt mission related to deepening analytical capacities using existing research (capacity building portfolio will depend on level of experience). • Providing day-to-day direct and indirect management of the research team within their workstream. <p>Our utility cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions. At our hotels, these associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to support cleaning needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers), or transporting dishware or linens across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.</p>

<p><h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>
<p>The designee is responsible for the overall daily safe and expeditious flow of air traffic within the designated facility control airspace in accordance with ICAO and FAA 7110.65 regulatory guidance. Rules of separation must be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders. This designee maintains situational awareness of the overall flow of air traffic operations at the facility assigned and is responsible for all ATC facility operations and services during their shift, as well as adherence to CRM principal application. The designee coordinates with various controllers and personnel to relay information which pertains to the aircraft and in the interest of safety of flight including emergency information. The individual is responsible for vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield. Along with controlling aircraft the designee must be able to process flight plans, and supervise approach, departure, and arrival procedures. The designee will have a full working knowledge of control tower operations and flight planning and a fundamental knowledge of radar/manual approach control operations.</p>
<h4>Minimum position knowledge, skills, and abilities required:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an approved DoD or FAA ATC course.</li>
<li>Eight (8) years of experience, one (1) year of experience must be from performing in a like type facility.</li>
<li>Knowledge of ATC rules, regulations, and techniques; control tower and approach control operations.</li>
<li>Shall hold one of the following tower certifications: FAA Control Tower Operator (CTO) certificate, FAA or AOV Credential with Tower rating, or equivalent.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Class II Medical Certificate.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.</li>
