With a modern, beautiful architectural design and stunning interiors, we make use of the finest wood and marble, and our rooms and hotel interiors combine classic luxury with contemporary design, all housed in spacious rooms of at least 42 square meters or more Job Description - Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service. - Lead the banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed. - Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally. - Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs. - Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions. - Have full knowledge of all banquet & Outlet menus. - Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards. - Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage. - Assist with other F&B functions and tasks as required. - Determine the number of waiters and servers required for an event. - Plan the venue layout according to the number of guests and type of event. - Coordinate details of a contract with the banquet sales director and the head chef. - Supervise the placement of tables, chairs, table settings, and serving stations to make sure they are placed properly. - Oversee the seating of guests, serving of meals and beverages, and the quick clearing of tables. - Assists with other responsibilities and duties in the absence of a team members or other tasks assigned by the manager. - Follows all policies and procedures ascertained by the hotel

- Previous Food and Beverage leadership experience required. - Must be computer and system literate. - Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required. - University/College degree in a related discipline preferred. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities. - Highly responsible & reliable. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. - Ability to work cohesively as part of a team. - Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times. - Extensive knowledge and experience with catering equipment and venue requirements
